Democratic Party (DS) vice president Bojan Pajtić said that Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) leader Vojislav Koštunica was responsible for a stalemate in the cabinet talks, since he was not ready to make any concessions.

Pajtić told Novi Sad daily Dnevnik that the Democrats were ready to give up on the prime minister post, as G17 plus would give up on the finance portfolio.

“Nonetheless, Koštunica cannot accept that Democrats, in case he remained in office, would have the majority of portfolios in the new government,” Pajtić concluded.
