Ambassador Eide added that his position on border demarcation was mentioned in his report on Kosovo, but that later the process was handed over to UN envoy Martti Ahtisaari and to politicians in the field.
Eide also said he believed the province did not do enough to achieve the standards set out by the international community.
"There is a lack of sufficient progress in terms of inter-ethnic relations, fight against corruption and organized crime, the rule of law and private ownership," Eide told the newspaper.
Why in rush Mr Eide? One step at a time. Let's get Kosova independent first and then the two countries Kosova and Macedonia can solve the issue as two good neighbours. Dont forget that in the both sides of the borders live Albanians. The issue will be solved in a European way. Both countries will be in the European Union and Nato soon so there will be no borders anymore between Albania, Kosova and Macedonia. Serbia can join us if they meet the democratic European standards.

The point Mr Eide has raised is another exhample that Mr Ahtisaari's plan is irrelevant and biassed. Yes, the borders between Kosovo and Macedonia should be demarcated between Serbia and Macedonia.
