Troika Kosovo report to UN secretary-general

On December 10, the United Nations secretary-general, Ban Ki-moon, forwarded a Kosovo negotiations report submitted by the Contact Group Troika of mediators to the UN Security Council. The European Union, United States and Russia diplomats, Wolfgang Ischinger, Frank Wisner and Aleksandr Botsan-Kharchenko, completed the report after 120 days of unsuccessful talks between the Serbian authorities and the representatives of the Kosovo Albanians.

The document, available for download below, will be discussed in a Security Council session on December 19.

Hague Tribunal President Fausto Pocar reports to UN

U.S. Department of State International Religious Freedom Report 2007

The U.S. Department of State Friday released its annual report on international religious freedom. The document suggests that the state of religious freedom in Serbia proper has deteriorated “because of the problematic law on religion and the Ministry of Religion's arbitrary execution of the law.”
