During the ceremony, Aleksandar Vučić and the ambassador of China addressed the public.
President of Serbia thanked his Chinese friends for their cooperation and understanding, congratulating them on the Lunar New Year. The Chinese ambassador, on the other hand, thanked the President of Serbia for taking the time to celebrate the Chinese New Year despite all his obligations.
I take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude for this gesture, said the Chinese ambassador.
President of Serbia first addressed the gathering, saying that it is never too late for good wishes and that today he sends his sincere congratulations for the progress of China.
"We are convinced that in the Year of the Wooden Dragon, your country will continue on the path of progress... For the further strengthening of cooperation between our two countries, the signed agreement on free trade, if of utmost importance", said Vučić and thanked China for supporting the territorial integrity of our country.
Vučić said that he wants to publicly say in front of everyone that he has received confirmation that Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit our country.
He is our sincere friend whom we want to welcome in the best atmosphere. We will do our best to make our Chinese friends satisfied. Thank you for everything. We are a small country, but you will always have that voice for respecting the rules and international public law from us.
Once again, welcome and happy New Year, said Vučić.
Now he can stop imagining Serbia will ever be part of any European Union or even possibly part of Europe.

Serbia IS part of Europe. You can't pick it up and place it in Asia now.
Serbia doesn't want EU. Very few people there want it so nobody cares if EU membership happens. EU will be gone and forgotten soon enough anyway. We are better of joining BRICS.

Lord help these simpletons and their GDP. A number of colleagues are specialists in this GDP area and they say the GDP in the west is mostly meaningless since, as a one said, the west would count wiping one’s arse as production. It used to count as something but today its rubbish. China is the number 1 economy in the world and has been since 2014 but the US changes the rules and declares itself being on top when we all know that’s crap.
Kosovo has high growth rates. Technically under the western rules it does but they count money people like you send back to stop your relatives from starving as income earned. They count EU aid as income earned – its all crap.
The Greek PM was in Serbia so was Meloni from Italy then we go to Macron, Scholtz, Orban, Erdogan, Sebastian Kurz from Austria, Sheik of UAE and these are just to name few and note these are NOT “leaders from communist countries”.
Let me know who set foot in Kosova or Croatia in the last decade LOL. NO ONE!!!!!!!!!
Nestle just opened a factory in Surcin near Belgrade who or what opened anything in Croatia or Kosova? NOTHING has been opened.
Croatia is like Kosova both are on social security and if they didn’t get aid in the case of Kosova and Croatia money from the EU Fund, they would both be dead.
Psst it how you grow an economy; you get corporations to invest money in industry in your country to employ your people.

It does not stop. One after the other high officials arrive in Serbia and now we have the President of the World No.1 economy, Xi Jinping, arriving as well, this will be for the third time. That is a very big thing for a small nation like Serbia.
Now who or what has arrived in Croatia or Kosova in the last decade? NO ONE AT ALL LOL.
