Let us recall that the so-called authorities Kosovo has been under the attack of sharp criticism since the Kosovo authorities, through the special units of the Kosovo police, despite the opposition of the local population and Western partners, occupied the municipal buildings in the North and brought the newly elected mayors to work.
Kurti said this in an interview with the Financial Times, in Bratislava, which he boasted about this evening, KoSSev reports.
He said he was pleased to speak immediately after European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen unveiled a plan for the Western Balkans to approach the single market at a global security conference.
"Serbia has not imposed sanctions on the Russian Federation and is financing the fascist militia in the northern part of my country, so maybe they should receive sanctions," Kurti once again repeated the accusations against Serbia.
KoSSev, however, reminds that the so-called Kosovo has already received the first sanction - its participation in Defender Europe 2023 was cancelled, which Pristina boasted about for a year. Then the US ambassador in Pristina clearly labeled the Kosovo prime minister as the cause of the current crisis, making it clear that there is a compromise in relations with the US.
And State Secretary Antony Blinken, or the State Department, spoke out twice, strongly condemning the unilateral move, requesting an immediate de-escalation of tensions.
These words have been continuously repeated since Friday, but so far without results.
"It's naive and wrong," says Kurti about Blinken's advocating, while his close associate, the president of the Kosovo Assembly, Glauk Konjufca, adds: "The US does not understand Kosovo's position."
"I admit and I know that when it comes to approaches, we have a little difference, but honestly, I don't feel that any kind of sanctions in Kosovo is the right measure," he said.
Moreover, Kurti confirmed to the Financial Times that he is in daily contact with the American ambassador in Pristina. He is also ready to hold a meeting with the Serbian president with the mediation of Brussels.
He even welcomed the deployment of NATO troops, saying that he himself has been calling for more NATO troops since last year.
However, while the western international partners, the so-called Kosovo, from the highest positions, point to him as the one responsible for starting the crisis, expecting him to move the mayors to alternative locations and withdraw the police from the municipal buildings, Kurti says: "It has finally been proven who we are up against - extremists in masks who burn everything that is not Serbian". He directly accused "the criminal structures of Serbia and Russia, Aleksandar Vuèiæ, Aleksandar Vulin and Ivica Daèiæ, and Zvonko Veselinoviæ and Milan Radoièiæ for the crisis in the North".
Kurti also sends a message from Bratislava that he "wants to defend all Serbs in Kosovo", because he himself "suffered a lot in his life" and does not want "others to suffer" and that he does not want others to feel that there is no one to support them.
"I am also their prime minister," says Albin Kurti.
I don’t know where you live, sj, but it sure isn’t Serbia. For people that live here, such as myself, it is not easy to make a living in Serbia. I am quite educated, but it is not easy to care for a family by working in Serbia. Vucic is not being entirely truthful when he speaks about Serbia’s economy. Please don’t be fooled by what you read. Try living here in Serbia if you want to learn what it is like here.

I live in Melbourne and I can tell you people are scrambling to get out of Victoria altogether.
Problem is there is really nowhere to go. Interest rates have forced many people to lose their homes, many, many more cannot even think about ever getting a house and trying to rent is exceptionally hard now.
Cost of everything has gone through the roof. People are relying on charities more and more just to feed their families here.
Do you honestly believe the west BS that we live like kings here?
We work from dawn to dusk every day just to make ends meet and many still can't and this treasonous government is going to bring in nearly two million migrants in the next three years.
We are living under dictatorship here. Cameras everywhere and fines for almost anything now.
The west is rotten to the core and getting worse.
Yes, I do believe you that Serbia isn't a fantastic country to live in, but the west is worse now. Globalists are going after the west. We are going to be subjugated first.

The US has placed in power only the ones they can control. It took decades but they have don’t it. Look at the western leaders. They are all the same useless, weak and greedy individuals.
What have your Albos got for being pro US?EU? Nothing at all. When the US packs up and leaves and do you think for one moment they will do something for you people? Ask all the Afghans who were clinging to the undercarriage of the aircraft what they did for them. Same await the Albos.
The EU is desperate to get the Balkans under its control but Serbia is playing for time since the world power structure is changing very fast. I read in the financial times that countries are now signing trade deals in currencies other than the dollar and there is no turning back. The dollar is being ditched at a very fast speed. There was another article on the de-dollarisation. Under normal circumstances the dollar would have been the world reserve currency beyond 2050 but the sanctions on Russia, theft of Russian assets sped this up and the US will start to feel this before the end of this year.

I live in Australia and if you think things are great here, I have some bad news for you. Years ago, a migrant could find work and save to buy a house in Sydney or Melbourne, but today no way. Cost of housing is through the roof. Prices at the supermarket rise regularly but wages do not.
What do you expect of Vucic? Serbs still have this Tito era mentality of not doing much work but get paid. That’s over so welcome to the real world. I know of Serbs in Australia who worked year in year out and found another job during their holidays to put together enough money to buy a home. They never went anywhere for two decades but Serbs in Serbia went on annual holidays to the beach or Europe.
I know very well the conditions in Serbia, plus I have relatives there who I keep in contact with but it’s not any better outside of Serbia.
This is the reality of 2023.

Wow how heart warming, so albin kurti is so dedicated to defend Serbian people still some how surviving in the new European democracy kosova ? Serbian people can now feel so much better knowing albin kurti is on their side ? Wow too bad all the other Serbs who since the 90's that were murdered, tortured, raped, robbed of all earthly possessions and their human vital organs removed and sold for profits and ethnic cleansed by siptar terrorist from their ancient homes and lands in Kosovo did not realize how loved they really were by albanians ???

I have said many time that Kurti is unbelievably stupid and here is that proof. The dumb arse actually believes he is in the driver’s seat ha,ha,ha. The US NEVER puts in a smart person in charge, but the exceptionally stupid ones. Look at the EU leaders from Olaf Scholtz to Van de Leyen.
This clown has not worked out that despite Serbia not sanctioning Russia the EU will never place sanctions on Serbia because Serbia is far, far more important than Kosova. The dummy still has not worked it out that he is there to serve and dcies if necessary not sit at the table as an equal.
Here is his dilemma. He can’t go forward with this and he can’t back down because he will be finished. This guy makes Josef Borrell look like a genius.
NATO bringing more troops? NATO can send in 10,000 more troops if they like but it will not change things. Its TOO LATE. The geopolitical situation has changed and the idiot does not realise it LOL.
