Demostat states, referring to its diplomatic sources, that the perspective of Serbia's membership in the EU, investments in the energy sector, meaning being independent from Russia in that area, the arrival of US and European companies, are part of what Serbia could expect if it agrees to the Western proposal.
Demostat adds that the statements about possible consequences for Serbia if it does not accept the agreement are correct, which include the disruption of European integration, the stop and withdrawal of investments, the return of the visa regime, while the arrangement for the International Monetary Fund would be questionable.
According to Demostat, the representatives of the EU, the USA, France, Germany and Italy told Serbian President Aleksandar Vuèiæ at a meeting in Belgrade that, if Serbia accepts the European plan, it could enter the EU by 2030.
In the meantime, according to the sources of this center, Serbia would be included step by step in other European structures, such as the common European market, which implies the free flow of goods, people, capital and services.
If Belgrade rejects the Western plan for Kosovo and shows that it is not constructive in the dialogue with Pristina, there would be a suspension and withdrawal of European and American investments.
"Namely, there are already companies that have stopped plans for investments in Serbia until further notice, primarily due to the mismatch of foreign and security policies, which entails an increased risk of doing business in our country. Refusal of negotiations on a plan to resolve the Kosovo issue for the business community that plans to do business or is already operating in Serbia would be an additional red flag," writes Demostat.
The Franco-German plan that appeared in the media last week is not authentic, nor the final agreement that will be found at the negotiating table, writes Demostat.
The agreement will include a clause stating that neither side will block or encourage others to block the other's progress on its path to the EU, and that the agreement will not mention Kosovo's recognition or its UN membership.
There was another ultimatum given to Serbia just before WWI. Look how that turned out.
Serbia does not take ultimatums, even if a traitor is put in place to accept it.
Serbs DON'T WANT EU membership. How is that a threat? The only people who want it are the non Serbs and a few traitors among them.
This means you, Vucic and Brnabic.

Empty threats that's all. The biggest fear for these western clowns is if western industry leaves, China and other Asian countries will fill the void. But the hatred towards the west in Serbia will be intense LOL.
What these buffoons don't understand is they have ripped off the veil of diplomacy and now openly using threats. Imagine how that looks on the world stage; it only makes the non-western countries move even further away from the west.
He is the conundrum. Where are these western investors going to move to? The EU where energy costs are rising constantly and are now making it uncompetitive or perhaps the US? Who is going to compensate these investors after investing billions in Serbia? Now if Serbia has borrowed from western banks and invested in constructing these manufacturing sites, then Serbia can rightly declare any western money borrowed for these purposes has been cancelled and walk away from the debt. Before we get a flurry of posts that Serbia will never again be able to borrow, we are no longer living in an age where money is only borrowed from the west. The money is now in Asia. Western banks will be left high and dry.
As far as Serbia joining the EU by 2030 who in their right mind believes any of this after the west signed all these agreements then trashed them? If anyone is in any doubt let me assure you that the west is seen as incapable of adhering to any agreements or in laymen’s terms, lairs.
Empty threats, that's all.

Wow 2030 is a long time to wait for a promise, did any one consider the possibility that the world exist in a different configuration by that time ? Humanity Proposes but Divine God Disposes, some things are best left as they are. So albo siptar squatters want to annex Kosovo to albania and Serbian people have no say about that ? So after Kosovo becomes greater albania then which will be the next territory of Srbija to become another country ? So albanian siptars purchased some lands and homes and stole others by being squatters but who owns all the mountains and ravines and lakes and rivers and the mineral rights to all the valuable mineral deposits in Kosovo ? They keep talking about all the jobs and foreign investment companies help Serbian people, will that last for ever or can it end in a blink of an eye agreement or no agreement ???

Serbs will fold no doubt about that.
Vucic knows what's best for him, despite the fact Serbs continue to beat on their chest about how much they love Russia.
Serbia knows it's a suicidal decision to choose east vs. west.
Look at the investment, donation disruption that would take place if Serbia decides to pick Russia.
@SJ this doesn't apply to you, you already live in a western alliance country that you love to live at so no worries son, keep on lying about it.

Vucic said himself that the Franco-German plan "did not have a letter in common" with what his team had previously negotiated on. If Vucic speaks the truth then this is pure blackmailing from the part of the EU. They could write whatever in the document and force Vucic to sign it under threats. Rule of the mob.

A country that gives up its own sovereign land for a fist full of dollars or joining a corrupt organisation like the EU has no integrity or honour. Serbia does not need the EU and it's evil member countries. China continues to invest in Serbia as does Russia. These two countries never bombed Serbia. The US and EU can get f#cked if they think Serbia will bow down to their demands. Only when the U.S. return the state of California to Mexico will Serbia consider the same action. Ziveli Srbija I Srpsko Kosovo I Metohija.
