The only reason Vucic is promoting the Open Balkans Initiative is because Putin is weakened due to Sanctions and cannot help his little Slavic Orthodox brother. Thus, Vucic is trying to find a way out of his predicament by calling for help from those neighbors he has not so long ago threatened with non-cooperation. I say, let him twist in the wind.
