PODGORICA -- Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic said in an interview with RTK that Montenegro's withdrawal of recognition of Kosovo was never an option.

Djukanovic added that the decision to recognize Kosovo's independence was made by the Montenegrin state after analysis, of both legal and political aspects.
"Derecognition of Kosovo's independence has never been an option. Montenegro is a serious state. We are a responsible neighbor. We analyzed the legal and political aspects, then came to the conclusion that in the interest of stability and prosperity of the region, it is necessary to recognize Kosovo's independence", Djukanovic said.
According to him, Montenegro has clearly shown in every step that there is no dilemma in recognizing Kosovo's independence.
"On the contrary, we want to help Kosovo, just as we want to help all other countries in the region to adopt the European value system as soon as possible and move forward through the European Union and NATO," Djukanovic added.
The Montenegrin president is on a two-day official visit to Kosovo. Yesterday, he met with the heads of institutions, President Vjosa Osmani, President of the Assembly of the so-called Kosovo Glauk Konjufca and First Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi.
On the second day of the visit, President Djukanovic will visit the KFOR base, give a lecture at AAB College and attend a business forum organized by the Honorary Consul of Montenegro in Kosovo.
Djukanovic needs this Albanian votes to keep his power in Montenegro. Another traitor to the Montenegrin people.

I agree that good neighbours make a good neighbourhood.
However stealing someones property is a bad neighbour and therefore it makes for a bad neighbourhood.
And until the wrongs have been put right it will continue to be a bad neighbourhood which will lead to violence....

Very good example of why Serbia will very soon become extinct, Serbian Self Destruction !!! From 1943 this is the terminal sickness of the Serbian people to destroy them selves. When history is erased and forgotten then for sure there will be no future ! The worse damage is self inflicted damage, how can one save them selves from non other but them selves ? This sickness is not only in the Balkans but word wide, in the Balkans croatian josip broz tito salted the minds of Serbs and in the tudjina Serbs poison them selves by committing schism of their faith so for sure a terminal illness of self eradication !!!
