In an interview with the German daily the Münchner "Merkur", Rama says that possible conflicts in the Western Balkans would be stopped if the countries of the region join the EU. He cited Ireland as an example.
"Recent tensions in northern Kosovo cannot be compared to tensions from previous times. In fact, today former adversaries want to join the EU together. Military conflicts arise when countries are isolated, not in a community. Remember the positive developments brought about by Franco-German relations, or the case of Ireland. The risk of the EU bringing conflict into their homes is almost zero. Unification with Kosovo? Such mental games are much more likely outside the EU than inside it," Rama said.

And you will never see Albania and Kosovo & Metohija becoming one country. Why? Because Kosovo & Metohija is Serbian. And Serbia will regain full control of its southern territory sooner or later. Serbia can wait...and wait.....

Thats funny because the Albanian communities in Kosovo and Metohija have said that due to large migration the number of pupils in schools has reduced by 28% over the past ten years.
Another point if there are plenty of Albos with an average age of 27, where are they employed? What has opened up in Kosova that has created conditions where migration is not the best option?

A study was done to compare population with cell phone users in the Balkans, a weighted average was found (by dividing the cell phone subscribers / population)... All Balkan regions were very similar except for Kosovo which apparently had 3x less mobile users than the rest of the region... it came to a conclusion that either kosovo had ALOT less users, or ALOT less people.... most likely the later considering how inexpensive cell phones were.
