I always thought over the last several decades the Americans were appointing diplomats who were dumber and dumber, but not to the point of being down right stupid in not knowing what the US have signed up to in the Dayton Agreement. However, they keep on proving me wrong all the time.
Every Constitution has exit clauses, and the Constitution of BiH is no different. The Constitution of BiH is in line with the Dayton Agreement, which allows for secession.
The problem with the US was best summed up as follows:
“The US leadership had all information about the situation on the ground in Afghanistan, but didn’t take into account one thing – their own capabilities.
They didn’t want to face the truth that the US is no longer capable of playing the role of a global hegemon, which it had assigned itself.”
