Zmaxx.......you are right that Serbias population has declined in the last 30 years. However you follow it up with a dumb conclusion.
Croatia, Albania, Albos in Kosovo, Bulgaria, etc, have seen far far bigger declines in population over that same period (both in percentage terms and real numbers). Between 2008-2018 Albanias population has declined by 44%, and Kosovo by 30%. Since joining the EU Croatia has lost 22% of its population. These numbers are way higher than Serbias. So it very much looks like Serbia will be the last in the region to switch off the lights..........
At current levels of population decline Croatia, Albania and Albos in Kosovo will be empty far sooner than Serbia.........

Please dont twist the truth. The Serbs that are moving to Croatia are the ones which your government kicked out in 1995. Those people you talk about are merely reclaiming their homes and land. Its not as if they are applying to move to Croatia as new arrivals, these people were born there and had property there. That was ethnic cleansing and you know it. So stop twisting the facts. If Serbs wanted to move out of Serbia I think Croatia would be one of the last countries they would want to move to. But of course if you own property in a certain place you will go and claim it.

Since early 2000, Serbs have been relocating to Croatia, furthermore very few of them have moved back to Serbia. That says it all, our new Serb population appears to be quite satisfied living in Croatia. Of course, what is there not to like about Croatia, we have many beautiful beaches, better paying jobs for our Serb newcomers than they had in Serbia and, of course, their mental health has greatly improved since moving to Croatia. And, oh yes I almost forgot, our new Serb minority benefit greatly being part of the E.U.

This is a huge problem for Croatia.
Its a problem for most Balkan nations but Croatia takes the biscuit. Albanians in Kosovo and Albania have also lost huge numbers of people (although they dont like to talk about such matters).
My question is..... so just how good has the EU been to Croatia??
Many young adults have left and of course the birth rate declines.
Croatia will indeed be home to the elderly and this is a disaster for the country. Couple that with the fact that Croatias debt is many times higher than before joining the EU and its a very bleak future.
Perhaps the Croat government can import Albanians to fill the void since they get on so well....??
Problem there of course is that Albos will then slice a chunk of Croatia and claim it as their own lands going back 3000+years.....

As I said many, many times Croatia will be the largest retirement village in the world in five years’ time and perhaps people can now understand why the Croats tried to "normalize" relations with Serbia using Pupovac.
