1. Trump is a businessman and a patriot. His personal life doesn't interest me, it should only interest Melania. I am only interested in which president would be safer.
Still, out of what's on offer there who would you vote for? Who do you think is better for the world? People have to elect one of them.
    (Peggy, 2 August 2020 02:45)

As a businessman Trump wasn't successful. Being a patriot can be easily faked.

Personal life and sex stories are anecdotical and as long as there is nothing against the law should be irrelevant.
Except, if it is about political leaders. Political leaders should command respect.
I don’t care about such things, you do not care - the majority of people do.

Who is safer for our future is exactly the point. I have numerous problems with both Trump and Biden.

The positive about Trump: would he win, there won't be more, than four extra years of gerontology
The positive about Biden: would he win, his middle name is "Compromise".

The negative about Trump: see, where we are now + wide-spread corruption.
The negative about Biden: possibly, eight more years of gerontology and wide-spread corruption.

My estimate: the usual stupid exchange of compromises is better, than voodoo war against ever-changing opponents.

Trump changed the political course and the country leadership way too often and the people he currently is surrounded display very poor skillset.
I am thinking about Pompeo who is one of the worst Secretary of State ever.

Also, his gold digging slavic wife that retired from porn industry and barely speaks any english is leaving the WH and probably Trump too. (Atamanov brat od strica, 1 August 2020 11:16)

    I usually stick to innocent-looking “6996”.

This is very "Atamanian" or better to say, SATAManian thing: the reset signature of SATA port multipliers is exactly "6996".

    Boring engineering documentation:

    [link]

See page 29 and the values of "Cylinder Low" + "Cylinder High". There you go with 6996.

The rest is tongue-in-cheek - but it looks, some are irritated (as expected).

In the reality, this 6996 is firmly inside of the serious [link] and a proof, engineer mind is OFFICIALLY ALLOWED to be dirty.

During the work of course dirty jokes all over the labs.

Many engineers are females and a very nice lady, Amber Huffman from Intel (see her info on the page ii of the above documentation) is the technical editor. So, I guess, this "6969" is officially fine, gender-neutral and blessed by Intel managers in Hillsboro, Oregon and in the respected "t10" committee.

Now compare the above with this:

    [link]

The “Albanian” comment is more disgusting, than all SATA Port Multiplier references from me on B92 combined. The “British” response is just barely “better”.

(Atamanov brat od strica, 1 August 2020 11:16)

Absolutely. He represents our interests in the politics quite well. Elizabeth Warren even more, but between them Sanders wins. The agenda which affects me every single day is the role of the "barons" in computer industry and how to avoid their negative impact on our life.
My employer and myself have to deal with this problem on a daily basis and it greatly impacts the income.

I am fine, but Sanders or Elizabeth Warren in the Oval Office would not only add good $4000 / month, it would drastically improve other things in my business.

Do you honestly think that even if Trump did what they say he did would make Biden a better president?
Do you want the US to continue with the same dangerous policies of funding Islamic extremists?
What about what the US did to the Balkans? Whose idea was it to create so much Hell there? Yes, I know, the people bought into all that but without US none of it would've happened.

I think, the biggest problem of Trump as a leader is that he never acts - he reacts.
This seem to benefit Russia, but in the reality it does not.

Historically, good relations were when a president of USA was consistent.
At the times when the president was inconsistent, the relations deteriated.

    Today we have historically-worst relations.

Compare it with the time when Secretary of State was HRC.
Her role in the Balkan civil war was as nasty. But when she became the Secretary of State under Obama it was precisely her, who pushed through a strategic visa agreement between USA and Russia.

Thanks to that agreement, Americans and Russians enjoy a very special visa agreement, unparalleled in other countries.

That agreement is sabotaged by Mike Pompeo - who - from Russian point of view - is the worst Secretary of State ever. And Mike Pompeo was appointed by Trump.

Anyone, who has ties to both countries wants to see Mile Pompeo depart.

    ==

ANTIFA and organizations like BLM were quite marginal during nearly 20 years we spent in the States. As I recall, that was confirmed by FBI recently as well. Never supported these of course.

And so on. In Russia, Belarus, Ukraine the story of “golden rain” is chewed endlessly.

The motivation is said to mock Barack Obama as it happened in the same bed where Barack Obama slept with his wife.

No one denies Trump occupying the same hotel room as Barack Obama earlier, if that wouldn’t be the case the entire story would not fly to begin with.

This is all anecdotical and no one hold the candle. I mean, FSB surely hold the candle but it is not in anyone interest if they would step forward.
The truth will be always a matter of gentleman’s agreement between two three-letter agencies.
