Serbia only lost about 8% to migration. Why is Croatia in the EU? simply because the west was afraid of Russian influence so the EU they took in Slovenia, Bulgaria and Romania as well.

The new comment is wrong. Of course, Lajcak has not much to do with the COVID farce. But even technically incorrect because for Hungary Serbia is on the "yellow", not "red" list at Horgos. In addition to that, as long as you stay within 30 km of the border you can cross the border. Szeged is within 30 km and no one checks the Szeged - Budapest trains.
There are more loopholes, easily circumvented by individual travelers. For large groups (mass tourism) this does not work.
And why not slap Ataman in his face and tell the CORRECT amount of money you pay on these trains for the ticket? It's just a number.
Warning: this is could be like the infamous Vushtrri cognac.
Ataman is a mean person and maybe there is a trap there?
