Who said he is not welcome in Sarajevo? There is still eastern Sarajevo which is in Republika Srpska and he can go there any time he likes.
I’m sure Handke will have restless nights due to the decision to declare him persona non grata.

Regarding the Croatian situation, Croats claimed eastern Croatia and so did Serbs. Historically, Croats probably have a stronger claim (though I think "Croat" is as much a sociological construct as "Serb"). But, in any case, both sides decided to settle the matter of political control through violence. In the end, the Serbs lost. And all of a sudden those folks are all innocent persons and the soldiers who killed them are all neo-Ustashe. You live in a complete fantasy world. Jesus said, "He who lives by the sword dies by the sword." End of story.

For Croatia to partake in any protest about genocide is purely laughable. This would equate to Hitler protesting genocide in Montana, USA in the 1940's. Croatians are genocidal maniacs to the extent that they were the only people that disgusted the NAZI SS with their brutality. Outside of NAZI death camps, the Croatian Ustashe were number two - not bad for a small region I guess..... and they want to protest fabricated mass graves and genocide! What our Croatian and Albanian friends have to remember is that history repeats itself - try to remember WW1 and WW2. However, the Serbs might not be so kind and generous this time around...

I have scoured many Serbian dictionaries and failed to find the word “outrageous” in any of them.
I did however discover that “outrageous” is an English word.
I believe it’s correct use in the English language would be:
“It’s outrageous for Barney Gougel to believe that the Serbian language and grammar curriculum must include words such as “outrageous””.

Serbia has rightfully honored Handke in many ways; that MSG denies and/or considers otherwise is MSG’s problem.
The fact that thousands and thousands of innocent Serb victims were slaughtered in the wars of the 1990’s by neo-Ustashe in Croatia, Islamic and Mujahideen fundamentalists in BiH and KLA terrorists in KiM, is undeniable. So he's held these views for more than 20 years and only NOW after being chosen for a Nobel Prize by a separate group of people, only NOW is he "persona non grata" in Sarajevo.
Which meant prior to receiving an award in literature, he could have come to Sarajevo with his views.
