No one is asked to honour anything just to implement changes, and to prepare country to be fit to fully join EU club.

So explain to us all how that same Brussels is ignoring UN res 1244, the UN being the highest body on the world stage.
Sure, Serbia should play by the rules. But why don't the French, Germans, etc do the same?

How about Serbia honoring what the EU stands for instead of lying and trying to get around requirements set forth by the EU. If Serbia can’t or won’t conform to EU principles then it should bow out and pursue another path. Remember, the person hosting the party is the one that decides on who is invited. Serbia should not expect to be able to change the rules and principles of the EU whenever it is convenient for Serbia. Have you ever heard the expression: “spare the rod and spoil the child”.

But EU should honour Montenegro, Rep Serbia and carry on.
Talks between the two are gone a long way over the years.
