If Russia is powerful how can it be prevented from helping Serbia. The Serb people are not so foolish as to believe Putin’s lies.

If Russia wants to solve problems, a good starting point would be to stop stirring it up in Syria, Libya, Crimea, Ukraine and wherever else it’s ambitions take it.
Russia wouldn’t do anything to solve the Kosovo problem out of love for Serbs. It is politically motivated for its own ends.

Karchenko has a defeatist attitude which represents the lack of power of Russia to solve the Kosovo problem for Serbia. In the end, Serbia will have to chose independence for Kosovo since the conditions for accepting a compromise are too humiliating for Serbia.
