The problem with climate change is that there are too many interest groups out there stirring up hysteria. This teenager is being used and, as Peggy stated, this is a form of child abuse. The problem with climate change is a lack of debate using real science on the subject.
For example, while you have people yelling the sky is falling in Sydney, Australia, Fort Denison, was built in the 1800s to protect the harbour. For the last 150 years it has measured not only tide, but sea water levels. Today, the sea water level is lower than in 1914, but how is that possible when ocean levels are supposed to be increasing?
Then the claim that climate change is affecting the Great Barrier Reef, off the Australian State of Queensland. A James Cook University academic, who has studied the reef for over 30 years, and a renowned world expert on the subject, said the reef was fine and it was not being destroyed by agricultural runoff or warming of the waters. Indonesia has the same coral species and part of that country is on the equator thus 2% warmer than the Great Barrier Reef, but the coral is thriving there.
The academic was sacked from his professorial position because in the last decade and a half about $10 trillion has been spent world-wide on climate change research and no university wants to kill the goose that lays the golden egg.
Its fact that wind and solar cannot generate enough electricity to meet our needs.

Her parents should be charged with child abuse. To allow people like Soros to get their hands on their child with a mental illness is unforgivable. These evil globalists think they can say whatever they want as long as they are hiding behind a child is not going to work. We are not going to challenge her, because she doesn't have a clue about what she is doing but we can and should go after her Antifa parents and the rest of the adults who have put this child in harms way. Sadly, she might even attempt self harm one day if this keeps going. She is clearly showing sings on not coping. If that happens, I know they will attempt to blame the people who disagree with her and her handlers but it won't fly.

This article and the comments so far do not acknowledge that there is a problem with the climate and that things ARE being done about it. (Too slowly maybe, but there is action.)
There is no reason not to find alternatives to excessive carbon burning. There is no reason not to protect wild life and preserve an environment which nature can continue as it has for millions of years before.
It is not enough to label children as being disturbed (even if they are) and there is every reason to address their concerns.
I do agree that she is too extreme in her thinking. I do however acknowledge that she is rightly attacking a terrible amount of complacency.

This is disgusting, and why B92 chooses to publish this reactionary piece in vivid detail is beyond me. Imagine grown men getting so worked up over a 16 year old girl who is doing nothing more than relaying information previously published by reputable scientists. Maybe Greta needs to look at her own selfish generation before attacking the adults! It's the millennials who are the biggest consumers of manufactured good! The first generation to require air-conditioning in schools, and your classrooms are all computerised. You want a TV in every room of the house and you're constantly on mobile phones and electronic devices and always update them to stay trendy! You don't walk or ride bikes to school, but arrive in convoys of vans and suvs that pollute the air and choke traffic. If the kids want to save the planet, why don't they start with themselves! Switch off the mobile phone, TV, aircon and read a book, ride a bike or walk to school. But that will never happen because you are all selfish, virtue signalling brats!
