Russian delegation should have attended the UN General Assembly in New York.
Lavrov said that Russia should not put up with such insolence.
"We have already got used to the United States' lack of manners, we will respond accordingly," the first man of Russian diplomacy noted.
Lavrov explained that Moscow would find a way to respond adequately, Sputnik reported.
"They have interest in coming to our country", he added, citing the visit of US congressmen in 2018, including Senator Ron Johnson, who was on Russia's list of the persons with imposed sanctions.
Lavrov also said the time has come to raise the question - why the UN headquarters is situated in New York.
US really did a very bad thing by denying visas to Russian diplomats to the UN. UN is extraterritorial, and it's not up to them to decide who should countries send to represent them at the UN.
It's as if Olympic Games are held in one country but they deny visas to some sportsmen and women, ultimately deciding what the teams from other countries should look like. Ridiculous!
It will stay in New York, I'm sure, but "American lack of manners" isn't something is easy to get used to. I wish it was located at Geneva, Switzerland, for example.

Who.......there have been some really stupid comments recently, and yours is another one.
Dont you think that the Catholic church and Catholic people should decide where they set up their base? Most of us non Catholics couldn't care less if they moved the Vatican to Mars.
Belgrade was the major city in Yugoslavia because it was the biggest city. That's true in many countries of the world. Tito, who was not Serbian, could have moved the capital to anywhere he wanted. I have no idea why he didn't. Is that really important?
If the capital was elsewhere, would it have stopped Croats murdering 1 million civilians in WW2? Would it have stopped them being nazis??
Would Albos have behaved and not tried to steal Serbian land of Kosovo..???
The UN is different, it involves every sovereign nation on the planet.
You are comparing apples and oranges.........
Hope that makes it clear for you, but if you still confused do ask someone to sit you down and explain it to you slowly.

Yes, I agree with Lavrov. And I believe we should vote to position the headquarters right next to the troll farms.

Why is Vatican in Rome? Are we gonna change that first ? Why the capital city in Yugoslavia was Belgrade? Why not Bihach, or Jajce ? You serbian like it when Belgrade was the capital

Mr Lavrov The headquarters planning to move to Zagreb and Prishtina 😂. Will be much closer for Russian delegation so they can save fuel 😀 and they will have to ask for EU visa instead US visa.
