BELGRADE -- Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic commented on Vojislav Kostunica's proposal that the status of Kosovo and Metohija could be solved by the Hong Kong model

"I have great respect for our presidents, Boris Tadic, Vojsilav Kostunica and Tomislav Nikolic, respectively. I have a question for you - what does it mean exactly - a Hong Kong model? Who will accept this from Albanians, who have declared independence during your and Tadic's term of office? Why didn't you accept it back then?", Vucic asked at a news conference.
He added ironically, "It's a great idea, I'll take it."
"Why did I put it this way - to stop lying, to accept reality, not to act as the greatest power in the world," Vucic added.
He says he "listened to other ridiculous ideas", such as to accept that Albanians are being treated at our hospitals: "Well, here we are, our hospitals are full of Albanians."
He went on to conclude:
"As I am not in a position to implement a Hong Kong model for Kosovo, I will resign tomorrow, just give me guarantees that you'll be able to do it".
He noted that such interferences only make the talks and negotiating position of Serbia more difficult.
NATO won, not Albanians. We are just biding our time, Nato will eventually leave, we will be here. We will have it back

Since when did NATO Win? NATO was forced to bomb civilians and to make concessions and guarantees for the territorial integrity of Serbia under UN resolution 1244. Unfortunately, UN Resolution 1244 was breached upon by the US and NATO, pure theft of Serbian land. The Brussels agreement is also being stomped on by Albanians. So, what guarantees can Serbia be given to even negotiate?

Serbs dont need nukes to liberate Kosovo, only Nato to leave.
We will liberate Kosovo, Albanians will never have a real state there. Its only a matter of time.

M.. I never said we won the war. Albanians did not have anything to defend themselves from Serbia. The only defense we had was the right to exist and the world saw how Serbia raged war on us and helped.
The world is moving towards connection and being free. Serbia or all Serbs need to forget this Kosovo and just join EU.
You can't expect EU or America to give up this land it fought for.
Remember, the day Kosovo becomes Serbia again is the day when Serbs and Albanians don't exist anymore. This can only happen when World War 3 is over and Nuclear winter happens. Serbs or Albanians will not even take part in this war, we will be victims. America vs Russia and China will be the main players and all what we will see is smoke and dust. That's when you can say Kosovo is back Serbia and I would agree to that because we both will not exist.
Stop the day dreaming for the sake of GOD.

Medieval rulers, whom we today refer to as the first leaders of the Serbian people, took possession of the land by might not right. Serbia's "day" was when might was on their side. But that is a false and misleading ideology. Our real day is when we humble ourselves in the sight of God, live repentant lives, and dwell on the land in peace and enjoy the fruits of our labors with our families. That is "the day" we should all be yearning for. Make Serbia Great, and do it in the right and worthy way.

Flamuri........your post is simplistic in the extreme. Nato bombed Serbia for 78 days with the goal of ripping Kosovo from Serbia. Are you suggesting that might is right? What about international law? Using your logic do you think its ok for America to take half of Canada? Why not?
You cannot just steal land if you feel like it. And I hope Serbia never recognises Kosovo as a state. Kosovo is Serbian and always has been. And at some point in the future Serbia will take back what is theirs. No matter if its 5 years or 50 years or 250 years. The
Political landscape will change and balance of power will shift.
Its just a waiting game. If you disagree with my point then explain how Croatia managed to expel up to 300k civilians from their homes in '95, and got away with it. Nobody in the "democratic" west batted an eyelid, did they.
So, its very much possible to do things if you have might on your side. And of course Serbia's day will come and they will take back what was stolen from them.
