There is no comparable union to the EU for Serbia to join. If Serbia chooses Russia it will be a fatal mistake, far worse than being bombed by NATO.

is slowing down regional prosperity.
There is only so much that isolated candidate can do before becoming a part of the system.
Dont even look at Serbia now , remember how that republic was much better organized and laws were followed with small corruption during peaceful Yugoslavia time. Before 1990 Serbia ws at the ssme level like Portugal.
If denied EU membership and it is for almost 2 decades, central European country Serbia is loking for partnerships elsewhere.

Mr.Szijarto has not given a reason for Serbia to be admitted to the EU. If he thinks that an emotional plea is sufficient, he is sadly mistaken.

Mr Szijatro 2025 is long off. I would not call that soon. But there you go in Balkan 100 years is like yesterday
