According to Politika daily, this would be the second significant event without Serbia's presence, despite its historical role and the status of a victorious country. The daily reiterates that on the occasion of marking 100 years since WWI armistice, taking place on November 11, 2018, France had placed Serbian President in the side rows, while Kosovo President Hashim Thaci was sitting next to the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The invitation for marking this anniversary was denied to Vladimir Putin as well, which was confirmed by the Office of the Polish President, Politika reports, pointing out that the President of Poland decided to invite the states members of European Union, as well as the states gathered in Eastern Partnership Program, consisting of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
Russia is not part of this organization, it is said in an explication of this decision.
Obviously a huge mistake not to invite Russia and rep Serbia to attend A shameful, unforgivable act. My father was an ARMY officer in WW2 and if he were alive today, he would be annoyed. This clearly is a shameful act.
HOWEVER a club of EU each day resemble to a different bunch of what Partuans stood really for.

Clearly its a wrong decision ön the part of POLAND. Shameful act. Especially the ones invite each day resemble to a different club what Partuzans stood for in WW2.
Each day more and more looks like a fascist club.

Odd call by Poland. Could understand if Germany and Russia wasn't invited, however, to invite the main protagonist and ignore Russia and Serbia is obviously a political one.

Does Putin or Vucic care about not being invited? I'm sure both are crying in their cornflakes over this news LOL. Trump asked for Russia to return to the G7, but Russia said it was not interested.
Its how the west operates these days; more like a petulant child, but when you look at western political leaders then it's no wonder - not one has the metal of as true political leader starting with Trump who behaves like a buffoon. Macron struts around as if France is of importance then the Brits and so on.

At the end of the day, it really doesn't matter what today's politics puts forward. History is history and it cannot be undone. The Srb people will ALWAYS have the honor of fighting for the right side, as do many others nations, no matter how the picture is painted today.
It is what it is...

Baby crier Vučić throwing a tantrum for having lost another opportunity for free goody bags and freebies.

Speaking of free loaders who show up to eat all the food and swipe all the silverware, were any of the organ harvesters of the most Democratically Democratic country on earth invited or were they snubbed for being fascist collaborators?
(LOL, 28 August 2019 19:04)
Well Polish people deff gave a big contribution to free the europe from Nazi, they surrender Poland in a day very brave people, compare to Serbs and Russians who died in milions for freedom, shame on Poland but what to say its modern nazi fascist club in eu

I wonder if Kosovo will be invited and offered front row seat like it did in France for WW1?
Did Kosovo support the allies in WW1 and WWII?
Maybe the EU will re write the history books in their favour?

This is further proof Serbia does not belong in EU & Nato nor should we send troops anywhere in the world for them. Let them give their sons and daughters lives for their conflicts. We oaid dearly for being an Ally during WW2 and they repaid us by smuggling Nazis and Ustahi out of Europe and handing over our country to the communists on a silver platter. Prokleta zapadska politika.

The Soviets attacked Poland only a few days after the Germans did. That was part of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact from August 23, 1939, when Hitler and Stalin were still great friends. They divided Poland between them. So it quite understandable why the Russians were not invited. The Germans shouldn't be there either. Serbia was not invited because it's a close Russian ally, a quasi puppet state.

No surprise here, everybody remembers the Munich pact and so called allies leaving Czechoslovakia, Lithuania, Austria and Poland at the mercy of the Nazi's. The same appeasement continues today with the UK, Germany and France with the United States. The UK has thrown a wrench in the unity of the EU as they did with German appeasement with the hidden pact with Rudolph Hess giving a free hand to Hitler to invade the Soviet Union. Kaliningrad is what Danzig was in WWII, a thorn on NATO's side!

Serbia and Russia haven't been invited to WWII anniversary, but Germany has??? This world is becoming a huge mess, I feel like I have just woke up in the parallel universum.

This is apparently a celebration of the Nazi collaborators.
The people that actually fought the Nazis are doing their celebration next year on may 9.
