This strike group is considered to be "the cruelest" on Syrian battlefields.
As portal Metro News reports, these data are released in the Report of U.S. Military Academy and the U.S. Combating Terrorism Center.
"The last active presence of jihadists from the region in Syria is the ethnic Albanian unit within the HTS. The Albanian community, called "Katiba", which means a combat unit, is made up of Albanian fighters operating around the northwestern Syrian province of Idlib", it is said in the report, carried out by Gazeta Express.
Other fighters originally from the Western Balkans participating in the war in Syria are found in other units, while Albanians are kept as ethnically pure units, highly prepared units that had undergone military training.
Monoethnic Albanian unit has its own commanding structure, which clearly show that their number is not insignificant.
It is also reported that unlike other Western Balkan countries that hand down severe penalties to their foreign battlefields' fighters upon their coming home, Pristina is quite tolerant with this regard, with an average sentence of three and a half years in prison.
Accordingly, 40 percent of those who have been convicted of terrorism in Kosovo have already served their sentences and are released.
I said its NOT about nationality , if they go from Kosovo to ISIS they count as Kosovo citizens, also if they go from Serbia they count as Serbian citizens, no matter what they call themselves, even them who go from Kosovo to Middle East they say we are not albanians but "we are Muslim" , and thats all whats on their empty head! and its a small group of them who can never get back to Kosovo again , i mean if they get back they will be prisoned.

nol, it's not true that they can't return! They do a regular basis, and the average prison sentence is a mere 3 1/2 years. Pretty lenient if you ask me.... and it doesn't shed a good light on your people.

Kosova just like any other country in the world was caught off guard in the beginning when these cases started to happen but it has done a great job in preventing these sick ideologies to spread.

If you're talking about Albanians from Serbia going to fight with ISIS, that's one thing, this would hold true; however, if you're trying to say that Serbs are fighting with ISIS, this is completely different and extremely false. I am confused here. ISIS is a fanatical Islamic organisation that does not tolerate any other religious groups such as Christianity and Serbs are Orthodox Christians. So, you might take a little time and explain it to everyone how Christians can or want to join ISIS?
The only people that ISIS will accept is Muslims and in Serbia proper they are Bosniaks living in Sandak. Now the Bosniaks do not identify themselves as Serbians but Bosniaks but since they live in Serbia they are citizens of Serbia.

As Kosovo is independent and wants its own unique identity, it would be wise to call these criminals Kosovars/Kosovans, not Albanians. For the Republic of Albania Albanians are polar opposite Kosovo Albanians, and a simple visit there would confirm this.
