Georgian citizens arrested in western Serbian town

The police in Uzice, a town in western Serbia, have arrested two citizens of Georgia, whose initials are D.S. and Z.G.

The suspects, both in their 40s, are believed to have used tools to force open locks and burglar homes in Uzice, stealing gold jewelry, money, and appliances.

Police officers searched their apartment to find the tools in question, as well as a pistol, several pairs of gloves, a cell phone, and some of the stolen items that will be returned to their owners.

The two suspects are currently held in police custody and will be charged and taken before the prosecutor within 48 hours.
