CePIT, Centre for Research of Information Technologies, conducted a research on the Internet usage analysis in Serbia for a fifth year now, including the parameters of information society development. The study “Internet Penetration in Serbia 2006” was performed on the representative sample of Serbia excluding Kosovo. In relation to our previous studies of information society development in Serbia and the region, the basic methodological specification of this study is the general idea that it is envisaged and realized with the primal aim to establish the rate of Internet penetration in Serbia.
