Helsinki Committee on Vojvodina
The administration of Vojvodina proclaimed the year 2006 the Year of Vojvodina's Identity. What prompted the decision were aggravated interethnic relations in the province that placed Vojvodina on the European Parliament’s agenda.
Helsinki Committee SerbiaSource: Helsinki Committee SerbiaIn late June 2006 in Novi Sad, the Helsinki Committee held a round table titled “Vojvodina’s Identity Today.” The round table, convened in tandem with the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, was realized thanks to the assistance of the Embassy of Switzerland in Belgrade – DFA Federal Department of Foreign Affairs.
