  1. I wonder how the Serb Camp is going to respond to this declaration.

I imagine this is what you’re talking about “Bearing in mind that the state of Kosovo is a new reality in the Balkans…..” This type of drivel makes people feel warm and think that nothing has changed and exiting policy continues. However, talks always create changes and when they do occur they will announce that “it was an agreement between two “warring” parties” and we should respect that decision, blah, blah – I was paid to write that sort of stuff by the ton – I recognize spin in my sleep. Look at Afghanistan; 8 years ago it was the US fighting to the end to rid it of the Taliban but now it is “facilitating talks” between the Kazai Government. Don’t hang on too much on what these humanitarian organizations say.

The Helsinki Committee for Human rights is a well paid western organization that relies on government funding and in return it plays the role of the innocent but in actual fact only reaffirms western policies under the guise of respectability. Perhaps the Committee might want to explain how it had for the last 8 or 9 years remained silent while torture was carried out by at Gittmo Bay or the act of rendition and the many murderous acts committed in the name of freedom and democracy by the US and its NATO?

“Through cooperation in certain areas such as…..economy…..” This is the KEY sentence in the entire press release – seeking ways of improving the living conditions of Albos in Kosovo or in laymen’s terms how can Albos go to Serbia proper and find work. The rest of it is verbal diarrhea.

  2. Where were they with their declaration before 1999?

  3. No one really pays attention to this! When titles such as Antena's damaged, you have people with full interest.

Nothing will ever change in balkans, how sad!
