1. This resolution shows no understanding of how selfish nationalism has done deep harm to the reputation of Serbia in the eyes of the world.

It looks like this parliament is just playing to the resentments of the nationalist elements rather than showing a genuine understanding of the suffering of all victims.

  2. This resolution is a disgusting insult to the Serbs that were killed. It is like saying how sad someone is murdered but not going after their killer. Where is the demand for thaci and ceku to be in jail for killing Serbs. The leaders of NATO for killing Serbs? The leaders of Croatia for killing Serbs? This resolution is so disgusting it makes me sick. No real Serb could have voted for resolution like this.

  3. Serb critics here, demand that Croatians and Bosniaks, and throw in the Albanians, to admit and apologize for the war crimes they did in the 90's, and earlier, and then, there can be real reconciliation. Why are you so transfixed on Serb crimes only, and not others'? I think a few Serbs were murdered too.

  4. Gladko,

Your beloved Croatia has said nothing at all and probably I will not see it in my lifetime that Croatia will make any action or effort. It keeps hiding behind Germany and the US who tell it not to do anything and so Croatia does. Of course you do not care about this and maybe the Croatians and Albanians should decide to form a union. Who knows it may actually work and then you can invite the Bosniaks to join it.

I don't remember the Serb parlaiment adopting a resolution against the crimes committed against Albanians by the Serb state.

  5. Bizarre.

  6. Yes, Milan, the Croats, Albanians, and Bosnian muslims can form a union, it would be like old times from WWII. Please, anyone from Croatia, Albanian Kosovo, or Bosnian muslims, you have zero to comment about war crimes, till you bow your heads and say you are sorry not only for the crimes your ethnicities committed, but also your fathers and grandfathers.

Have you just awoken from a 10 year sleep? You obviously haven't been following Serbian events for a long time.

  9. It is regrettable that this type of crime was committed not only against Serbs but against other non-Serb Balkan nationals as well. Everyone, even non-Serbs, around the world knows that this was a crime; why waste time and money on a resolution proclaiming the very obvious. It would be money and time better spent for Serbia if they passed a resolution condemning their own past behaviour and making a formal commitment and law to prevent this ever recurring in the future. Serbia needs to realize that leadership for good can only start with their own nationals, as they cannot control anyone else. Better to improve your own behaviour so that you can set a good example for the world.

  10. And when is Serbia apologizing for victims its policy caused to Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo? Asking Croatians, Bosnians and Kosovans to respect Serbian victims? Never thought I will live this day....
    (bombaclut, 15 October 2010 14:02)
  11. The best thing to do to express sorrow for crimes against Serbs or non-Serbs, it,S non only to condemn the crimes, but it is and more importantly to bring to justice those who committed crimes during the lasst conflicts in the ex-Yu. Serbia will have to demonstrate clearly its good intention to practice what its says. Words are not enough.
