She explained that calling of the session had been delayed because of the parliament’s legislative obligations.
“Before the beginning of summer we had to finish what was on the agenda. This session is important because we must do several things that are very important for Serbia’s progress toward the EU before report to the European Commission (EC) is concluded. That means that we will most likely have a session on Thursday on which we’ll have the declaration condemning crimes against Serbs and citizens of Serbia,” Kolundžija stressed.
When asked whether the declaration would also condemn NATO bombing in 1999, she said that victims of the NATO aggression were treated by the parliament just like other victims.
