BELGRADE -- Parliament Speaker Slavica Đukić-Dejanović expects that a declaration condemning crimes against Serbs in the former Yugoslavia will be passed during the summer.

“We will certainly finish this job before October and the start of the regular sitting,” she told Belgrade daily Večernje Novosti.

The speaker confirmed that the parliament would work until August, when the summer break begins, and that the session which starts on Monday, June 7 will last two to two and a half weeks.

The law condemning crimes committed against Serbs will come after parliament adopted a declaration earlier this year condemning the crime against Muslims in Srebrenica.
