Now Svetlana Vukajlović says that most of Europe will be dealing with the effects of stopping their orders of vaccines.
“The question of damage compensation remains to be seen and it will not be solved in some time coming. It is not only a problem here, but in most European countries,” Vukajlović said.
Asked whether the government’s decision on January 12 terminated its contract with Novartis for the procurement of more vaccines, she said that “it depends on who is analyzing the government’s decision, but generally, the stoppage of shipment is a termination of the contract.”
Novartis warned the government not to cancel the order, because “only trustworthy countries would be given priority in the future”.
