“Without a solution for the question of financing and without property, Vojvodina is essentially paralyzed. Practically, we received more authorities, but the same budget, which will slow the realization of these new authorities,” Kostreš said.
He reminded that LSV leader Nenad Čanak and Prime Minister Mirko Cvetković agreed when confirming the statute that the laws would be prepared quickly, and that without these acts, the constitutional definition of autonomy cannot be defined in its entire capacity.
“I expect that the government will present a draft of these two laws at the beginning of next year,” Kostreš said.
Since the section regarding income was left out of the initial law for the transfer of authorities to Vojvodina, it will have to be defined with a separate law.
“When confirming the law for the transfer of authorities, we successfully received more than was initially agreed upon, and more than the province presented as the constitutional minimum. We were able to build into the law, things that our coalition partners gave up on already, like the Vojvodina science and arts academy, headquarters in Brussels, a capital city, and public companies,” Kostreš said.
Well, there we are already having consequences of "1974 succession statute".
Was to be expected, but not in such a speedy rhythm.
So now Vojvodina secessionist figures are willing to start writing their own Laws?
Kostreš may be reminded that any calls to undermine Serbia's Constitution and territorial integrity may be considered as the act against Serbian state and can send him nicely to jail.
Positive example always helps, isn't it?
