Democratic Party of Serbia leader Vojislav Koštunica said during the submission that the coalition’s main goal was the preservation of the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The second, Koštunica said, was entering the EU, with Kosovo as a constituent part.
The third was economic development, and the fourth countering corruption and organized crime, said the DSS leader and outgoing prime minister.
Accompanying Koštunica were New Serbia (NS) leader Velimir Ilić, DSS officials Radomir Naumov, Zoran Lončar, Miloš Aligrudić, and Andreja Mladenović, and NS’s Milanko Šarančić and Aleksandra Janković.
The DSS leader took the opportunity to repeat that the previous government had lost its reason to be “the moment our coalition partners in the government stopped sincerely fighting for Kosovo.”
Speaking also of their former partners, Ilić said that the DSS and NS had given their all in the last two governments, but that, as he put it, “it didn’t work out.”
“There were a lot of problems in the end, and a rift emerged in the government itself. We didn’t want to outvote or be outvoted, so elections ended up being called,” explained the NS leader, adding that he expected Serbia to receive a responsible government after the elections that would be the “pride of all its citizens.”
RIK must decide whether or not to approve lists within 24 hours of their submission.
The first to submit their list was the “For a European Serbia - Boris Tadić” coalition on Thursday, followed by the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP).
RIK approved both lists, and since the parties will appear on ballot papers according to the order in which they were submitted, “For a European Serbia - Boris Tadić” will appear as no.1, and the LDP as no.2.
The parliamentary and local elections have been scheduled for May 11.
Kostunica is what you get when you morph Tadic and Nicolic together, a reformist with a national heart.
For the last 9 or so years it was Kostunica who has fought the most for Kosovo, not Tadic or Nicolic. Albanian hatred towards him only proves this. Why don't Albanian's hate Nicolic as much when he is considered more nationalist? Its because Kostunic is smart and he knows how to get around the West, Don't believe me? It was Kostunica who forced the US to break international law, thats a thorn the US wont soon forget about. Serbia has a choice beyond DS or SRS...its called DSS. Make the right choice!

I wanted to summarize the choice but I see an anti-Serb racist posted before me.
Serbs have the choice between denying their history, heritage, culture, and beliefs by voting for the pro-foreigners (DS and their collaborators) OR remembering their ancestors who are responsible for their very existence by voting for the pro-Serbian (Radicals, DSS, etc). The west is counting on you to abandon your ethnic pride like you did under communism. You may not have approved of the methods employed by some of the Radicals, but your enemies are far, far worse. Throughout its history, the "beacon of democracy", the us has killed more civilians, ethnically cleansed more peoples and has been more of a threat to the entire world than any of the wildest dreams of Slobodan Milosevic. If you refuse to believe this, just read their history written by them.
When I look a pictures of Boris Tadic, I see the
"anti-St.Sava".
If it wasn't for St. Sava, you would be croatians. If it wasn't for people like KaraDordje, you would be muslims. If you vote for the pro-foreigners, congratulations, you are immoral, godless, greedy, selfish americans.
To me, the choice is obvious: Remember your proud ancestors! And ignore the lies about becoming "isolated". Any country, like the usa, that has to constantly worry about a terrorist nuclear attack killing hundreds of thousands of its people is the real "isolated" country.
