BELGRADE -- Boris Tadić, Vojislav Koštunica and Oliver Dulić have met this evening in Belgrade.

A statement from the government's media office said that the three top state officials also concluded there is a real threat that the province of Kosovo could soon declare illegal independence, and that the state institutions must take all the necessary steps to annul any such decision.
In line with this, Tadić has called a meeting of the Council for National Security for tomorrow, Feb. 12. The council will review the Action Plan prepared in case the Kosovo Albanians decide to unilaterally declare independence.
This was followed by Koštunica's decision to schedule a government session for Thursday, Feb. 14. The cabinet will adopt a decision to annul any independence proclamation.
The decision will become active if such a move is taken by authorities in Priština.
The document would in that case be sent to the parliament for debate and adoption.
The statement adds that these activities have the goal of confirming Serbia's unified national policy.
During the day today, there was uncertainty whether the meeting would take place.
Last week, the ruling coalition, led by Tadić's Democrats (DS) and Koštunica's Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), was deadlocked over the parties' diverging views on EU integration and Brussels' position regarding Kosovo.
Today, B92 has learned that shortly before the meeting Russian Ambassador to Serbia Aleksandr Alekseyev entered the Presidency building, but did not meet with Tadić.
Instead, he was received by one of the president's advisors, our sources told us.
Earlier Monday, Dulić and party whips postponed their meeting announced earlier. B92 understands that the meeting will now take place on Wednesday.
According to a statement from Dulić's cabinet, talks with the whips will not take place until after meetings at the highest level.
"Bearing in mind the complicated situation in Kosovo, the speaker believes that it is necessary for state unity to be displayed on the most important matters one more time at the next session of parliament," read the statement.
The consultations with the speaker were called following a request from the DSS-NS, Serb Radical Party (SRS) and Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) parliamentary groups for an emergency session of parliament to be held to consider their proposal to respond to the dispatch of the EU mission to Kosovo.
We all know this is part of Americas NWO agendy to split a former communist country so its easier to control. Who is next? Russia and China? Lets see what happens next when east meets west...

Thats a little naiive don't you think? Thats like saying the CIA removed democratically elected leaders in South and Central America in order to bring democracy to the people. We know the result. America will support either "democrats" or tyrrants just as long as it serves its interests.
This is why America supports Saudi Arabia, where anyone who converts to Christianity is punishable by DEATH !
Dito for China as well, with extraordinary human rights abuses; they have been promoted to "most favoured nation" status for such abuses.
America did not intervene in kosovo to help anyone, but to stabalize the young balkan market, ripe for investment, as well as to establish yet another nato base where they can practice "real time" war games, as well as to participate in the hub of european corruption which trades in drugs, sex, and a host of other crimes where every kind of shady deal is encouraged.

There's the WHOLE crux of the problem.
They NEVER expended blood, and would rather cowardly sign 1244 rather than have a single drop of blood fall.
It's one thing to kill for a cause, but when you refuse to die for it, then you pay the price of political embarassement...Hence the UN noose around your neck of UNSC recognized independence.
And please don't be so sarcastic with your 'cradle' comment.
Oh.
I almost forgot to answer your question.
Cheap real estate. It's called Camp Bondsteel.
"No my friend. YOU LOST KOSOVO YOURSELVES!! No one can be blamed but Belgrade."
It's not a matter of blaming Belgrade, but congratulating Washington on a well orchestrated follow up. Holdbrooke and co. played Milosevic like a fiddle.
But after 78 days of bombing pip-squeak Serbia, then eventually something has to give. Believe me, it was worth the price of watching the other NATO countries "humming and hawing" about what to do, just like in Afghanistan..
"In any case, cant wait for Belgrade's response"
Why would it matter? According to K-Albanian press, nothing coming from Belgrade seems to concern them......
Our buddy Kreshnik here doesn't seem to understand how much credibility the US and EU have already lost for their drive for Kosovos independence.
Do you think the US enjoys have to deal with Albanians these days? Perhaps in the last administration who were bribed to high heaven by Albanian lobbyists in exchange for their complete surrender of moral authority might have by attacking a nation despite being rejected by the UN and a willful waste of tax payers money which they continue to do by pouring money into Kosovo with no concrete results.
The US is tired and sick of hearing about Kosovo, why do they remain so silent about it? Because they don't care and they just want out. They have already met their goal, a chance back at Serbia for the Wests embarrassing response in Bosnia which ironically had nothing to do with Serbia itself.
One lesson that hopefully the US has finally learned is to never make a promise.... Afghanistan,Iraq etc.. They are paying heavily for that now. With a little luck the new administration will put this lesson to good use.
Kosovo and the Albanians in it has about as much of a right to "independence" as my cat running for US President.
Don't spin your pathetic stories of oppression and mistreatment, here we are 9 years after NATO flew in and 200 000 Serbs are gone and more surely to follow their path, that is completely sick! 3000 dead Albanians have no one else to blame but their so called freedom fighters (KLA) who killed, raped, stole on their behave even their own people. I have no remorse for Albanians because I know exactly what they are like, best I leave that to myself however... common courtesy.
"Republic of Kosovo" is already a failed state, accept it.

I hope these three Serbian politicians are working through how the Serbian diaspora can visit its Serbian Orthodox monasteries, churches and graveyards in Kosovo and Metohija.
Serbs living in Serbia and in the wider diaspora must be given the right to freely visit their Serbian Orthodox heritage, which has not been the case since US and EU gave Albanian separatists control.
This is another new shame on the Serbian nation.

Veton Surroj, one of the Kosovo Albanian who has been part of the negotiating process over the last two years writes in the Albanian daily 'Shqip' today that Kosovo parliament will declrare independence this Sunday, 17 February. On the 18th of Feb there is a meeting of the EU Foreign Ministers in Brussels who are expected to recognise the declaration and the process of recognition will kick into motion. The day is coming.

The theory of how albanians have been oppressed and how they need freedom - this is an old ancient broken record that that albanians keep playing. Noone believes this albanian propaganda anymore.

It’s like someone who would like to stop earth from moving, history from being written, and people from living in liberty! You can’t stop the earth, history will always be written (with or without you!), and you can deprive people from freedom but can’t last forever.
