The RS speaker surmised that the situation today was “still unfavorable,” adding that it would radicalize unless the Party for Bosnia-Hercegovina, the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) and the Bosnian Social Democratic Party changed their attitude.
High Representative Lajčak gave the political parties in Bosnia-Hercegovina until December 1 to agree on a rulebook for the work of the parliament, saying that failure do so would lead to his measures being imposed.
A Bosnian parliamentary committee initially seemed to have come to an agreement over the issue, but subsequently, the Party for Bosnia-Hercegovina and, latterly, the SDA have backtracked and decided to give their full backing to the high representative’s measures.
This onkly shows the incompetence of RS leadership. The reforms RS politicans are against were once they supported as part of the so-called "April Reforms" constiutional amendments in 2006. If Dodik had any intelligence he would have used this to shame Sijaldzic who built up his entire election campaign on his refusal to accept these reforms.
