B92 has learned that the Democrats insisted to occupy both posts, including that of a speaker and a secretary, but the DSS reportedly refused to consider that option.

Due to the disagreement, the DS refused to officially nominate Oliver Dulić as future speaker. Pursuant to the Parliament rules, the nomination must precede an official scheduling of the next parliamentary session

Caucus chiefs were expected to meet again tomorrow and try to mend their differences.
