Dimitrijevic said that 24 injured migrants were currently in the Leskovac hospital.
All patients are in a much better condition now and I believe they are likely to leave hospital on Monday, he said.
Some of the locals got involved and are "helping the migrants by bringing them presents," Tanjug reported.
The hospital in Leslkovac admitted a total of 41 migrants, six of whom were later sent to Nis and six to Belgrade.
