The minister, who is visiting China for the Belt and Road forum as a member of the state delegation headed by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, took part today in a panel dedicated to infrastructural connections.
Mihajlovic said that Serbia is proud of joining China's global Belt and Road initiative from the very beginning, which, she said, has given a new impetus to international economic cooperation.
She pointed out that, given the economic viability and the environmental importance of railways, Serbia attaches special attention to this type of infrastructure, both at national and regional levels.
In that sense, she stated that the progress achieved by China, Serbia and Hungary on the Belgrade-Budapest (high-speed) railway project was one of the first successful cooperation projects implemented under the auspices of the initiative.
Mihajlovic added that Serbia is finalizing the current investment cycle, within which 500 kilometers of railways and 300 kilometer of highways have been reconstructed, including completion of the construction of southern and eastern arms of the road Corridor 10 and the highway from Obrenovac to Cacak.
It seems serbia is happy that China is investing in Serbia, good for you but I would say do not celebrate as yet. I have been following the concept of chinese investments in African countries and so far I can tell: You are done.

The Albanian nation has effectively neutered its self. I bet most Albanian women want to be the next Rita Ora, than have 5 kids... I for one am a big fan of Rita, not for the singing but for encourage thousands Albanian women to work hard and avoid having children... Well done
Even statistically speaking your barely a hair shy over Serbia(1.4-1.5 children per women) to Albania 1.6... I salute you in barely 20 years you've lost your only effective, your doing more on your own than we could ever dream of
(M, 26 April 2019 03:34)
Watcherovic, you are getting excited over nothing. those intending to leave kosova will still have citizenship and return annually, unlike the thousands of serbs that permanently left serbia for good. on top of everything else, Albanians still have a healthy enough birth rate to continue the population boom maybe for the next 50 years while serbia's population dwindles in every case from migration to poor birth rates.

Dardo, let me guess, Rita Ora and Bebe Hexha are going to come back to KiM and have 15 kids a piece with some goat jockey Albanian that their father chooses for them! Sorry bro, they're to busy hanging out with their Crni Boyz and paying them the ultimate price (Wink, wink) to get in the recording studios. LOL... sorry dude, that's how the music industry works in the US - who knows, maybe they'll send some money back to KiM to help the economy.

"kosovo*" is Re Serbia definitely and it's not ""if we want".
Why would we seek China to invest in "kosovo*"?
Because you are ni na nebu ni na zemlji. Anyhow you have,
116countries that are your best friends, if they love you let them make investment in our KiM. Like Albright, Clinton, and the rest of an elite.
We are happy with Chinese. But some day in the future, who knows when political climate changes.
(Ljiljana, 25 April 2019 21:54)
Ljiljo, don't let me come to the UK and give you batine for not paying attention. The count is now 106 and dropping, not 116.... LOL

Amazing that on an article about Serbia and China, you can make it about Kosovo, have you nothing better to do with your life than fill it with hatred?
If you are a typical Serb, it is no surprise that Albanians want to govern themselves.
(Dw, 25 April 2019 16:57)
@ dwaj- and you can... more than autonomy, less than independence!
You albos, however, are looking to completely steal Srbija province with no compromise!
Of course BG is going to always be involved... it’s Serbia’s land!

(Dardania'Alb, 25 April 2019 16:02)
First of all, having 15 kids was never healthy. It was female abuse, and indicative of a people without knowledge of birth control.
Second, Albanian birth rates are dropping because after years of access to the First World, women are no longer being used as baby incubators and Albanians can no longer afford to have so many mouths to feed.
Third, most Albanians that leave, tend to stay gone, and for good reason. What's the point in returning to a region blighted with economic and political misery when they can find live normal lives abroad?
Yes Serbs and everyone else in the Balkans are leaving too, but this myth that Albanians will return to a land they somehow are attached to is just that: a myth. And without any big power to invest, there's no point in staying. Kosovo will quickly devolve into a collection of gaudy turbo-mansions inhabited by its criminal elite, and a bunch of Serbian Orthodox monasteries that make more money than the village they're next to from tourism, international investment, and UNESCO membership.
(LOL, 25 April 2019 19:19)
From Dw: "Albright Capital Management invested millions after the war was over, as Ms Albright led the way in encouraging others to invest in Kosovo. Surely if you want Kosovo as part of Serbia you would hope for and encourage investment in Kosovo instead of spitting bile every chance you get?"
Dw: Ms. Albright is no friend to Serbs. She loudly advocated the bombing of Belgrade and then admitted that it was a violation of international law, knowing that there would be no legal repercussions for her and the other's bent on destroying Serbia. Albright invested in Kosovo along with Wesley Clark to enrich themselves. How did that work out Dw? You don't see Albright or anyone else investing in Kosovo now, do you?
And I would be in favor of investing in Kosovo when the international community removes themselves and it is again run by a democratically elected government under the auspices of the Serbian government. However, for this to occur, war criminals like Hasim Thaci and Ramush Haridinaj would have to be removed.
Since it sounds like you are cheerleader for the current regime in Kosovo, who Albright helped put in place, might I suggest you invest some of your hard earned money there. Make sure to let us know how that works out for you Dw.

More investment in Serbia to improve the infrastructure while Kosovo continues to rot and its citizens try to flee for other parts of Europe as Watcherovic's article points out.
I would like to ask Glow, who seems to have changed her screen name to Rightly and Avni, our resident Serbian speaking shiptar, and the rest of the Albanian trolls on this site, why aren't Kosovo's friends investing in Europe's newest democracy? Where is the investment from the 100+ countries that have recognized Kosovo? Lord knows Kosovo can't help themselves. They couldn't win a war on their own and they certainly are ill-equipped to run a viable country consistent with the norms of a working democracy. Anxiously awaiting an answer....
