"Unfair to insist on new deals, Pristina ignores previous"
Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said on Friday Serbia remained committed to an integrated, stable region.

Speaking after a meeting with EU Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn, she said Serbia's EU path and activities aimed at reforms and regional connectivity - "everything that is within the framework of the Berlin Process and needs to lead to a more integrated and more stable region"- had been the fundamental topics.
She said they had also discussed a regional agreement on roaming charges.
"We have certain reservations towards a regional agreement that is coming at a time when Pristina continues to insist on violation of the CEFTA agreement and on 100 percent taxes on products from central Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina," she said, thanking "everyone from the European Commission for unambiguously calling Pristina to withdraw this decision on these taxes."
The prime minister noted that unfortunately Pristina still insists on taxes that are a hurdle to all other regional initiatives,
"Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimovic and President Aleksandar Vucic and I have reiterated that Serbia is committed to regional cooperation. Our position is that there is no regional security, economic prosperity for any country of the region without regional cohesion and stability," Brabic said, adding that for this reason, "we are considering ways in which Serbia can sign this agreement."
According to Brnabic, it is not fair that there is further insistence on signing regional agreements when some of the basic regional agreements are not respected by Pristina.
Brnabic added that Serbia remains committed to a region that is strong, integrated and that offers all citizens the possibility of a different perspective in the future.
The Prime Minister stated that they mostly discussed the reforms in the field of the rule of law, and not that much reforms in the field of economy, where structural reforms continue and go quite well, both in the area of public administration, where Serbia has a sectoral budget support of €80 million from the EU.
She explained that reforms in the field of rule of law are the most complex, and that the rule of law is one of the areas where most effort is being invested.
"We also touched on the media strategy and praised the way in which we have completed the Draft Media Strategy within a broad working group, and completed the public debate and the process of receiving comments. We received over 250 comments on the Draft Media Strategy, which we are now looking at to fit into the final draft," said Brnabic, adding that she hopes that the final draft will be completed by the end of April at the Serbian government session with comments from the European Commission.
She also stated that they also discussed Constitutional changes and expressed the expectation that constitutional amendments will be on the agenda during the spring session of the Serbian National Assembly.
The prime minister announced that the International Civil Society Week will be held in Belgrade on 8 April and that the Serbian capital will host the digital summit of the Western Balkans on 4 April.
Brnabic thanked the EU and the Austrian Development Agency for their support for the reconstruction of the Golubac Fortress.
Ari...did you research the Ottoman census of Kosovo of 1455?? No? Well, I'll repeat the results again; Albanians made up less than half percent of the population. So, tell us when was Kosovo Albanian? And no, we dont need to read about stone age days please. Is it not a fact that Albanian birth rate was huge compared to others in Kosovo. Thats one of the reasons why Albos became a majority. Another is the fact that Albanians bullied, threatened and often murdered Serbs living in Kosovo for decades. The final reason is that after WW2 Tito opened the doors to many thousands of Albanians to cross into Serbia and escape from your beloved Enver. Those are the reasons how Albos became a majority in Kosovo. Serbia recognised Albanian as a language, allowed Albanian speaking schools, Albanian publications of newspapers, etc. Hell, they even gave you autonomy. Then the Albos want independence from a sovereign country that took you in from a ghetto (Albania). No, Kosovo was never Albanian. Stop with the fake news and lies.

Glow what are you talking about?? When was Kosovo Albanian?? And please dont go on about stone age times, nobody buys that crap. As for Croatia I do believe that the Serbian community had resided there for some 600 years. Is that not a fact?? They most certainly had a right to live there. But of course Croatia murdered 100s of thousands in WW2. Is that not a fact? And in the '90s the plan was to expel 250k Serbs from Croatia. Is that not a fact? Perhaps here in Britain we shouls songle out all those who came from Scandinavia with the vikings...?? For your info the Vikings came and settled in the 9th, 10th and 11th centuries.
As for Bosnia, the Serbs have resided there since God knows when. As for the greater Serbia...well, what a lie that is. Isnt a greater Albania on the agenda??
So, you need to tell the truth for a change. I did history and politics at uni, so am well aware of history in that part of the world. But no, Kosovo was never Albanian. In fact your buddies, the Ottomans in the 1455 census on Kosovo conclded that Albanians made up less than half a percent of the population. Glowaj, you can regroup all you want with the US, ultimately there will be no recognition until we say so - we can wait forever if necessary. The Germans, in particular Merkel, said there will be no border changes in a final agreement in KiM. So, basically what Staff has been saying here seems the most probable - we get the North 1/3 and you get the rest. As far as the UK, who gives a rats ass about the toothless wonders. Oh, I'm glad you people have such high praise for a bouncer by the way, cafes are a great place to find politicians - LOL.

@Fake Peter,
First of all excuse my typo, I meant to say highly educated instead of high. Yes, I was speaking of international politicians as well as Kosova's. The ones in Kosova are doing very good especially Haradinaj. You must not be paying real attention to the outside important voices. What USA's ambassador Mr. Scott said the other day is very meaningful. They are coordinating and regrouping with a new strategic approach to this whole dialogue situation. The West knew all along that asking Kosova to revoke the taxes wasn't fair as the taxes on Serbia were brought by Serbia itself with its diplomatic aggression towards Kosova.
Other than USA, the biggest pressure on Serbia to recognize Kosova will come from UK and out of of them all, Germany is the one that holds the most power when it comes to this agreement. Now, you tell me what are the chances that Serbia will have any say-so in this?

Other than USA, the biggest pressure on Serbia to recognize Kosova will come from UK and out of of them all, Germany is the one that holds the most power when it comes to this agreement. Now, you tell me what are the chances that Serbia will have any say-so in this?

Glowaj, you can regroup all you want with the US, ultimately there will be no recognition until we say so - we can wait forever if necessary. The Germans, in particular Merkel, said there will be no border changes in a final agreement in KiM. So, basically what Staff has been saying here seems the most probable - we get the North 1/3 and you get the rest. As far as the UK, who gives a rats ass about the toothless wonders. Oh, I'm glad you people have such high praise for a bouncer by the way, cafes are a great place to find politicians - LOL.

Check it yourself and tell us what the results are (Turkish document, not Serbian). So stop rewriting history and the fake news.

Prove it, but I mean with actual evidence not your usual folk tales your grandpa tells you.

If ISIS said the same about the Middle East I'd have believed them more.
