He also "pushed back US calls to tackle China's alleged cyber espionage and support Ukraine in opposition to Russia, saying that he wants his country to be "neutral, like Austria". Austria, like neighboring Switzerland, is not a NATO member."
Instead, Orban is reportedly #wooing China to invest in Hungary's information infrastructure" and also allegedly opposes ministerial-level negotiations between NATO and Kiev due to his objections to Ukraine's new education law, which Budapest claims has reduced the opportunity for the Hungarian minority in Western Ukraine to learn their mother tongue.
Russia's President Vladimir Putin said in late 2018 that significant progress has been made in the development of Russian-Hungarian relations and that new boundaries of cooperation had been reached. He also expressed the hope that joint work will continue to strengthen bilateral relations in various areas.
All nicely explained in clear wishful thinking tense.

All we had to do is to wait this weekend. The political situation between Russia and the West did not improve - but Orbán got his lesson from VVP.
Not being the fanboy of VVP - but it is nice to see the back side of Orbán being spanked from the East, not only from the West.
He just got a nice protest note from the Embassy of RU in Budapest regarding what does it mean to be a Nazi.
(Je¿ wêgierski, rosyjski, orbañski i g³upi, 31 January 2019 10:07)
I bet rather to the tune of the judge. He lost the connection to the reality.
He just got serious issues with VVP regarding the role of the Second Hungarian Army during WW-II, known in Ukraine and Southern Russia as butchers, rapists and robbers.
There is a line one should never cross, he just did and got a little kick in the leg.
Let's see, does he understand the message or not.
(Je¿ wêgierski, rosyjski, orbañski i g³upi, 31 January 2019 10:00)
Well, that's OK. He will dance unwillingly to US tune.

Now since Albos have been kissing US arse for so long only their feet are sticking out of Uncle Sam's bottom, has a similar arrangement been negotiated with Kosova or is this all in the wishful thinking category LOL?

(Tom L'Orizi, 30 January 2019 09:32)
And Hungary has its own hardcore ultra-nationalist movement going. They are far more pro-Hungarian than anything else. If they talk about Russia or China its only to make them look independent from other EU countries.
So here is the list....
Serbia
Wow! That's a huge majority!

JS, there's a good article on CBS News website about the US Intelligence Chiefs warning about China and Russia. It speaks to what I mentioned here originally - influence and credibility. Just FYI, if you want to take the time. I generally won't do this for other Albos, but you're special so I made the effort....
(Chi, 29 January 2019 17:06)
Wrong again as usual my little fake Serb LOL. You are a typical American who thinks with his arse and not his brain. You actually believe that everyone loves the US and believe everything Washington and its media tell you.
The US is in no position to give Ukraine weapons no matter how much Ukraine begs for the weapon as it would open a problem that would be too hard to contain for your US of Piss and Wind.
Only the Bosniaks side with your Piss and Wind while in Slovenia they took a survey asking ordinary Slovenes the question if Slovenia was attacked who do they think would come to their aid? The US, NATO or Russia? Surprisingly the overall majority said Russia.
Over all these countries you named are only with the US to make themselves as part of the west.
Dumb Americans do not realise that like the Soviet Union the US is not really liked.
Any way after glorious victories in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Syria they are now opening up a new front in Venezuela.
But what happened to the South China Sea? Surely your Piss and Wind was going to teach the Chinese a lesson LOL.

Excluding the UK, even Merkel and Macron have sparred with the US recently. So, I would say that the majority of Eastern European counties feel this way, along with a few from the West. So, I don't think I'm that far off actually. Plus, you'll find out about 2 countries shortly....
(Chi, 28 January 2019 21:26)
Yes, France and Germany have sparred with the States. But they have not turned to Russia or China. In case you forgot, they have put sanctions on Russia.
In Eastern Europe, Romania took a US missile defense system, Ukraine asks for more weaponry from the States, Bulgaria is firmly sided with the States, Montenegro the same, much of Bosnia is the same, Kosovo also, Albania also, and Slovenia is very pro-US.
And Hungary has its own hardcore ultra-nationalist movement going. They are far more pro-Hungarian than anything else. If they talk about Russia or China its only to make them look independent from other EU countries.

What else is new, the US losing credibility and influence in the world... funny how most countries in Europe are looking to Russia and China lately.

So JS, let's not pigeonhole ourselves into thinking that Europe only consists of the Western part - ie. Deutschland, UK, and France to name a few.
So here is the list....
Serbia
Wow! That's a huge majority!
(JS, 29 January 2019 07:11)
Are you sure most countries in Europe are looking towards China? More like authoritarian leaders. That's why Serbia is doing the same. Vucic is in power almost 30 years.

Except you. You are not going to china or russia, you are staying in Chicago because you know what’s better Hypocrite
(Who, 28 January 2019 17:30)
Who, if need be, I can live in either country; but I don't need to, so I won't. I'm not being hypocritical, I'm talking about influence and credibility, not political and economics. I'm giving you an opinion from my view as a Serbian-American. I DO believe that the US is losing the aforementioned, and I personally hate our politics - it's hard to argue that economically we're far superior to most nations. You didn't like my statement because you perceived it as a threat, because if the US is starting to look weak globally, you fear that this would interrupt your land-grab from Serbia. So, I understand why you chose to comment on this subject - you fear of losing you protectorate.... but, if you really open your eyes, you'll have to admit that this isn't farfetched.
(Chi, 28 January 2019 21:15)
Perhaps Orban should consider not toeing the US line and by example of its independence thought to revoke the recognition of Kosovo. That would show to US Hungary is serious.
(Principa, Gracanica, kosovo & Metohija Srbija, 28 January 2019 15:19)
Don't get warm and fuzzy feelings about Orbán.
He is serious only promoting himself and is clever enough not to cross certain borders.
Unless, of course there is a lot of money for him.
What you and myself would ask him about is logical from our point of view, not from his. Unless there is a lot of money.
Kosovo is not a lot of money.

Why don't you humor us and tell us how you distill that plum brandy you farm in Serbia supposedly. The only plums you distill are during your break from the mental asylum. Looney Tune.

do serbs not realize that it's only a matter of time before Hungarians in Vojvodina press for independence?
(Dardania'Alb, 29 January 2019 07:16
I know very soon all 200,000 Hungarians in Vojvodina. out of a population of nearly 2 million, will seek independence LOL. No wonder you Albos do menial work.
(sj, 29 January 2019 11:42)
... The moment the US - Russia and/or France/Germany - Russia relationship improves, Orbán will be dropped by VVP like a hot cake.
(Ataman, 30 January 2019 03:54)
All nicely explained in clear wishful thinking tense.
(Tom L'Orizi, 30 January 2019 11:22)

JS, there's a good article on CBS News website about the US Intelligence Chiefs warning about China and Russia. It speaks to what I mentioned here originally - influence and credibility. Just FYI, if you want to take the time. I generally won't do this for other Albos, but you're special so I made the effort....

Oh fake Italian Albo on the subject of fictive investments in Serbia it seems that NCR, a US company, will build in New Belgrade with investment worth $90 million to employ 4,200 when complete.
Now since Albos have been kissing US arse for so long only their feet are sticking out of Uncle Sam's bottom, has a similar arrangement been negotiated with Kosova or is this all in the wishful thinking category LOL?

I believe you are right that some commentors prop up the United States primarily because they see the US government as their protector.

VERY EASY WHEN TIME COMES HE WILL ALSO FACE THE MUSIC. HE IS PUTINS CRONEY. KGB BLOOD. NO FUTURE FOR HIM IN THE WEST. FEEL BAD FOR HUNGARIANS.

The Hungarian government serves only a single purpose: being Orbán's "yes-men". It is not nationalism, it is "orbanism".
From Putin's point of view Orbán is merely a disturbance for EU from inside and serves his purpose.
The moment the US - Russia and/or France/Germany - Russia relationship improves, Orbán will be dropped by VVP like a hot cake.

Well, that's OK. He will dance unwillingly to US tune.
(Tom L'Orizi, 30 January 2019 07:58)
Do not underestimate his ego. He won't dance - he will sit.
Either in Hungary or under something like house arrest in Russia.
See wife of Milosevic, Yanukovich and who-knows whom.
(Je¿ wêgierski, rosyjski, atamañski i amerikañski, 31 January 2019 09:54)
I bet rather to the tune of the judge. He lost the connection to the reality.
He just got serious issues with VVP regarding the role of the Second Hungarian Army during WW-II, known in Ukraine and Southern Russia as butchers, rapists and robbers.
There is a line one should never cross, he just did and got a little kick in the leg.
Let's see, does he understand the message or not.

If you are in Vojvodina, close to the border - expect new "business opportunities" for mafia.
In a nutshell: starting January 1, 20121 all merchandise sent by mail to European Union will be a subject of duty and VAT.
Currently the duty-free exempt is up to 150 Euro and VAT (sales tax)-free exempt is 22 Euro.
Duty is usually not very high, but Hungarian sales tax is 27%.
This insane decision was made in Brussels - but Orbán is a pussy and does not do anything against it.
Insane, because:
- the merchandise will be re-routed to Vojvodina, Kaliningrad, Western Ukraine
- There is no local mafia, right?
- The mafiosi will just take the merchandise across the border.
I am sure, Orbán's "friends" are already busy to organize the transport. And who has inside documents about it, be careful.
Documents compromising FIDESZ (Orbán's party) were stored in town of Mór,
And why the perpetrator committed suicide in his cell?
Maybe we will one day know the answers, maybe even from Orbán during his trial.
