jugoslavija,. its well estanlished that ancient Macedonians did not come from hellenic origins and they spoke their own language which was different from hellenic, thus being called non-hellenic 'barbarians'. Ancient Macedonians have no type of affinity or connection with modern country of greece. But you still haven't explained to us why all of a sudden you care about this topic anyway? we didnt see any serbs rushing to protest their government's decision at the recognition of the Macedonian state decades ago. this is typical of serbian state treachery and political games against all neighbors and even their own allies. and then you people wonder why no one wanted union with serbia during the 90's.

Not only do I know how to get there, I have been there several times. The last time was about two months ago.
One of the most popular spots is Babin Zub, that is, "grandmother's tooth." The first time I went there, I went in winter. The new four-star hotel was a sight to behold. But there was hardly anything to do in the area around it. I crossed paths with very few guests. I rode the ski lift to the top of the mountain. The view out across the countryside was stunning. Before returning by taxi to Nis bus station, I rented a snowmobile and had fun driving around for thirty minutes or so. The only problem is that the snow wasn't very deep.
A few months ago, I visited the "stone village" way back up in the mountains. For that excursion, I went into the mountains from Pirot rather than Nis.

You are 100% correct. I was talking to an Albanian neighbor of mine and agreed that a Balkan federation party should be set up before the EU eats up the Balkans. The same policy Germany and Austro-Hungary pursued towards the Balkans are now being duplicated under the guise of the EU. Serbia is still holding back somewhat as Vucic thinks he is Tito, but in reality a weak leader. Tsipras sold out his finance minister Varoufakis who had the only solution for Greece, bankruptcy , but he chose to continue to sell out Greece. Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro are weak countries which have sold out their citizens to the political elite. They are not sustainable without EU funding. You can add Greece to the list as they are essentially bankrupted (Jugislavija, 27 January 2019 16:12)

Nice try, but you got most of it wrong.
Macedonia is Greece and vice versa. Philip of Macedon are the old Macedonians and the rest are asia minor Greeks. The so called Macedonian language is a Bulgarian dialect. There is no such thing as a “Macedonian Orthodox Church” and remains autocephalus. The founding Orthodox churches are Serbian and Bulgarian, Nikola Velimirovich was the most famous Serbian Bishop in Ochrid. Albanians are quite happy to wait it out as the Macedonian slavs have made many concessions similar to Tito and autonomy will be the next Step in Tetova. The so called Macedonian movement was started in Bulgaria under the IMRO, they were involved in the assassination of King Alexander of Yugoslavia in 1934 to stop the unification of the south slavs.

Greece is all sold out to german companies. All, any single industrial and financial asset. That's Tsipras only success. Tsipras tried to use Russia against Germany and begged for money Putin. Putin showed him the door, in kind way saying that Russia cant replace the Ussr and bail out any single country facing economic problems. Tsipras then was on his knees in front of Merkel and only Obama's intervention convinced Merkel to not throw out Greece from evro zone. The price Greece needed to pay were those new US bases in its territory and changing it's mind about Macedonia. Lets not forget that Greece was one of the first countries to expel Us bases from it's territory when we were just small boys.

@ Jugoslavia With this last move Greece proved right all the neighboring countries including Albania Serbia and Bulgaria who have never attacked Macedonia's name. Mustafa, you are comparing apples to oranges. Greece has made a second mistake with reference to this fake country called Northern Macedonia. The First was allowing Tito to name a province in Jugoslavia Macedonia where the province of Macedonia already exists in Greece. The second is accepting "Northern Macedonia" giving Macedonia Slav nationalists a chance to challenge territory in the future in Greece.
