Perhaps you have not noticed the high standard of living in France where the demonstration are still going on. One person was interviewed and asked what these demonstrations are about? His response was "I earn 1,500 Euros per month and I cant feed my family".

Why join the EU? Look at brexit. EU membership means give up your nation's sovereignty, give up border controls, give up your identity, give up your customs and traditions and be dictated on what you can or can't do.
Germany, France, UK and all western EU nations have been the nation of destination for their generous free health, welfare and housing systems for the refugees and free loaders. Now it's hit way past crisis point and far beyond repair. The nation's workers must work till death and there will be no pension and welfare for the taxpayers in the future apart from the politicians generous lifetime pension.
The rise of the far right parties will put a end to this.
Serbia, don't join the EU if you really want to subsidise non citizens and be submissive to France and Germany.

How could it be when they still continue the war against the neighbor countries with Kosovo,Bosnia,Croatia,Macedonia and Montenegro how this could it be EU path.heard Dacic speech today and I can’t believe what I was hearing he clearly said we will continue the fighting Against Kosovo on Diplomacy level and that’s is against any Agreement and is Breach direct and indirect with EU policy on how could they be On EU path just with this.
Second one I think EU should now impose resolution and restrictions on Serbia’s Army as if not in next few years Will be to late as Russia is heavily arming Serbia and also Niss humanitarian center is Actually Russia base with highest technology equipments of spying on EU installed in there.
From there it can to hear better Europe as from Estonia sometimes it have Trouble.

I think Serbia would like more clarity too beyond perhaps 2025 (Junckers) or enlargement only after the EU reforms itself (Macron) with no mention of when and what that means!
Of course Serbia had hoped the EU would have choosen to open more chapters but alas this too is lacking. Thus in the meantime Serbia is doing what is right for Serbia and sadly in my view the govt has continually been very explicit about its EU objective.
My view is it's a rotton carrot and its shocking how they are trying to thwart Brexit, no doubt Iceland rightly stepped back from joining the EU despite being able to sign up if it wanted to.

When all wanted nothing to do with Jugoslavia anymore because all thought EU was going to be "paradise"... free food, free money, prosperity, independent policy, etc....everyone took the opportunity to stick it to BG!
NOW we see a different outcome...it's BG, with it's own inititive, moving up economically...and all the other poor saps who thought Brussels was the answer, barking and complaining how could BG get so far ahead of them.
