"What is necessary at this stage is exactly what your president has started as an internal dialogue that, by the way, would not be insignificant if it happened in Kosovo and Albania, too," Rama said.
Asked about the proposal by Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic "about the possibility of resolving the Kosovo problem by partition" - Rama said that "it would not be helpful to start there," and added, "I could conclude that it is an unusual proposal."
According to Rama, the solution to the Kosovo issue is "Serbia's full recognition of the Republic of Kosovo."
"But when I put myself in Aleksandar's shoes," continued Rama, "I am aware that it's a lot easier said than done."
For now, said he, "it is important for everyone to work together until a solution is found - patiently, directly and unconventionally."
Rama also said that the relations between Serbia and Albania are now "better than ever before" - and that he was "very proud of that."
Speaking of the possibility of improving economic cooperation between Serbia and Albania, Rama said that "things are improving on a daily basis and the two countries are on the right track, but much more needs to be done."

To put it more bluntly what Rama said: "when I steal your car, the only way to resolve that issue is if you accept the fact that car is yours no more.

Wow I am almost in full agreement with Edi Rama here.
Some wise words especially about being in the shoes of the opposite party.
We need more of that kind of thinking.

And how can you sj hear that noise? Maybe your are one of those crying goats waiting outside to be milked by Rama??
(from Albania, 15 August 2017 15:22)
I never had any goats, but I have been to Albania and there are plenty there. Edi was being sold as very smart, but he has proven to be the complete opposite thus goat herding may be his vocation rather than politics.

Edi, do you hear that noise outside? They are your goats crying to be milked. There is nothing worse than a yokel pretending to be a leader.
