Athens condemns Tirana's Greater Albania provocation
The Greek MFA has condemned the manner in which Albania used redevelopment of the Skenderbeg Square in Tirana to promote "unity of Albanian territories."

As a Greek nationalist, and speaking on behalf of many similar minded people from Orthodox countries like Russia, we feel that the time has come for counter action. Because the truth is that albanians occopy land that is not theirs.

If the albos are stealing land and instigating independence in areas where they have large diasporas then Serbs should do the same in Kosovo and Greeks in Northern Epirus.

Marko - Ask your self this question: Serbs are known to have come to this part of world with Slavic movements 7century, so did they steal this from someone? Vojvodina used to be Atila the Hun playground wonder if you stole that as well?

This so called greater Albania is a great myth. Let’s look at Albania, it has lost over 1 million people through migration so its interior is empty. Yes, a couple of cities are populated but the rest is empty.
Then we go to Kosovo. Officially it has 1.9 million people on the books, but half are living abroad. So if you pack all the Albanians from Bujanovac, Macedonia and Kosovo and put them into Albania that country would still have empty towns and villages.
Its only Edi Rama trying to take Albanian attention from high unemployment and very poor economic conditions.

It's not true. They came to the Balkans within the Rus (Bulgar) hordes and most likely they originate from western Caucasus. At least their J1 and J2 happlogroups say so.
As a nation (Shqiptare) they were formed in 19 century as before that they had belonged to 3 different (out of 4) nations of the Ottomans. Those were Millet-i Rum (Orthodox), Milliet-i Muslim and Milliet-i Katolik. That's why before 19 century they didn't have any special name.
Then word Shqiperia for their lands appeared, then word Shqiptare and later word Albania was for the first time in the history attached to the Shqiptares.
Historical Albanians (Rjurikovici) were eastern Slavs from western Rus. They ruled the world for 3 centuries at least. Yet the ancestors of the Shqiptares were part of the Slavic Albanians and in a way they have some rights to use our brand. So I take it easy ...

Here is a picture of the stairs and literally the most visited place in Greece besides the Acropolis: the Parliament in Syntagma square. The biggest mistake the Albanian government made was recognizing the Greek minority and opening Greek schools for them without pressuring the Greek gov to do the same for the Albanians that live in Greece.
