The body of a young man was found in the Danube near Ada Huja. According to the media, the wardrobe in principle corresponds to the description of the wardrobe worn by the man from Split on the night of his disappearance.

The body was found by sailors around 9.30 this morning, Blic writes and adds that the man is wearing jeans, a T-shirt with an applique and a white sneaker, which matches the wardrobe worn by Matej Periš on the night of his disappearance.

Police pulled out the body, and forensic experts are on the scene.

Just to recall, Matej Periš, a young man from Split, was last seen in a Belgrade night club on New Year's Eve. All available units of the Ministry of the Interior immediately joined the search for him.

The signal of the mobile phone of Matej Periš (27) was last caught near the Great War Island, at the confluence of the Sava and the Danube. The media previously stated that it is believed that the phone was in Matej's pocket when he entered the icy Sava near Belgrade Waterfront, and the last signal was caught about a kilometer and a half downstream.
