1. EA, the Kosovo dispute will be a frozen conflict for decades to come.
    (ecoman, 28 July 2012 16:41)

And Kosovo doesn't have any objection to being frozen as independent from Serbia for decades, centuries or milleniums...

So true after 3 UN resolutions and a meeting in Rambouillet they would not stop the violence then a bombing campaign was the only answer

  6. EA, Hungarians did not take the route of Albanians when millions were left out of the much reduced Hungary at the end of the Great War. They did not resort to terrorism or ethnic cleansing. Either they kept their communities within existing borders or moved to Hungary. They're in a much better position than Albania or Kosovo for it because they didn't drag their neighbors down with them as Albanians have in Serbia and Macedonia. Dragging neighbors down economically makes economic activity for everyone much more difficult. The Serbs that Albanians forced out of Kosovo had skilled workers who would be an asset to local economies. It's like Zimbabwe when the farmers were forced out. Now Kosovo instead of suckling at Beograd's teat switched to the EU+ US teat with even worse unemployment, at least in legitimate jobs.

  9. EA, the Kosovo dispute will be a frozen conflict for decades to come. Serbia no where near ready to enter the EU, nor does the EU particularly want Serbia in the EU. But it's about money, trading, business, so the game must be played. As for EU and Kosovo, please look around that place, I am not just talking about Pristina - do you honestly believe that that place is EU material? It will be decades - many. By then, God knows what the world situation will be, or if the EU will even exist? By then, I am convinced that the Chinese will have a lot stronger world in everyones affairs, like the USA does today. In the meantime, let's just not harm each other. No one needs fighting anymore. And EA, how many more times will you say that Serbia must recognize Kosovo? It will not. Besides, why do you want Serbia to do that? I thought Albanians didn't care?

  10. Support to Mark! Young, promising, objective and realistic ... Kosovo is a serious issue, and Mark is well and quickly found himself in all this. Advisor to the President of Serbia, Marko, daily shows and proves to be worthy of that function. Congratulations

  11. Ecoman,we Albanians have no problem with any one except the ones that came to our land and think it is theirs.Learn how to live with the others especially when you go to their house and are temporary tenant. For the sake of peace we agreed to live under Yugoslavia(under pressure of world powers of course) even as we were treatet as second class citizens. And you know that country was fake bcs there is no yugoslav people.Russia draw the borders as your heart had wished and grabbed half of Albanian lands, and now you are paying the price bcs your master is in no position to help you anymore with your propaganda.Every inch of Albanian land will go back to the right owners and that include Nish,Kurshumlija,Vranja,Medvegja,Bujanovci,Presheva and whole Sanxhak.

  12. I doubt in any near future dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia with the current Serbian leadership. Serbia should be given two option recognise officially Kosovo independence and welcome to EU or continue the status quo....

  13. So far, they talk a good game. As for results, still a bit early to tell. Making concessions on Kosovo is OK, since Serbs are a small minority there, it's just unfortunate that the concessions are made to Albanians, who have for over a hundred years tried to cleanse KiM of Serbs, and claim the territory - through their associations with the Ottomans, WWII Nazis, and now they bow to the US/EU. It it was any other people, I am sure a solution would already have been found. I feel sorry for Macedonians and Montenegrins, for they have a problem with the Albanian population also. Why is there conflict wherever Albanians live?
