When in lock down the first action a government takes is to restrict movement of people and spreading of the virus plus stop panic that could cause an even bigger problem. Shortages are caused by factories closing down and disruption to distribution systems plus food and other essential items are quarantined to stop hoarding or profiteering.
In these situations, ALL governments lie; ALL governments, not just yours. If they did not, out right panic and lawlessness would occur that would be impossible to control.
As far as Wuhan having a laboratory, well that’s hard to prove if this virus was made there or released intentionally/accidentally. However, China’s population is declining so I don’t see how releasing a virus then spending billions on fighting it would benefit anyone there. I can see why this could be done in the US where enormous profits can be made by pharmaceutical corporations, but not in a communist/socialist system like China.

But you never say never. In the late 1940s the UK released viruses on their own people to see the impact then in the mid-1950s the Porton Down facility in Salisbury (where the Skipal “poisoning” occurred) released viral agents into the London undergrown rail system to see the effects on the general population there, so nothing is impossible.

  2. All those countries involved in the break up and bombing of Yugoslavia are finally getting a taste of suffering with the main instigator the USA hit the hardest with a lot more to come later.
    Karma is a bitch.

  3. The Chinese were able to curb community spread within 7 weeks. The USA is in chaos and three weeks after the first shelter-in-place order the infection rate is still rising at an exponential rate. Both Russia and China have shipped PPE supplies to New York State. Meanwhile, one consumer item that is suffering shortages on store shelves after American toilet paper, is...guns.
America continues to epitomize the definition of a pathologically insane society.

  4. From a press briefing today.

Australia’s Chief Medical Officer Professor Brendan Murphy appeared alongside Prime Minister Scott Morrison on Friday, acknowledging the number of cases worldwide has passed one million.
According to John Hopkins University’s Coronavirus Resource Center, there have been more than one million confirmed cases and more than 53,000 deaths worldwide.
But Professor Murphy believes that the confirmed number of cases is much higher than the figure being reported.
When asked if he didn’t trust certain numbers from countries he replied: “I think the only numbers I have total faith in are the Australian numbers, frankly.”
He was also asked if he trusted numbers reported in China.
“I think China is in a really difficult position,” “They did clamp down incredibly hard and they stopped transmission but their population is not immune. They still have a lot of people in their population and they are, obviously, trying very hard to prevent second waves.”
He added he believes China has been transparent and isn’t confident in the US’s numbers.
Hmm considering Australia has jumped on the anti-China bandwagon I wonder how long the Professor will keep his job?

  5. In China we are still trying to bury our dead due to the virus. There are many shortages including burial space. The virus is about to surge again but our government continues to lie about anything negative to China. BTW, the virus originated in Wuhan city and is suspected of being laboratory made there.

  6. Professor Martin Makary, Johns Hopkins Medical school, warned that the US should not to take this virus lightly because hundreds of thousands will be lost. That was in late January/early February.
“A series of missteps at the nation’s top public health agency, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), caused a critical shortage of reliable laboratory tests for COVID-19, hobbling the federal response as the pandemic spread across the country like wildfire. The US decided not to use the test adopted by the World Health Organisation but soon had flaws with the more complex test developed by the CDC."
Note that the test adopted by WHO is the one developed by China.
Information shows US labs processed only 352 tests or an average of just a 12 per day thus authorities were flying blind and now New York hospitals are unable to cope with the number of dead.
Dr Ashish K. Jha, Director of the Global Health Institute at Harvard, said that government inaction had proved deadly.
More sad news is on its way. Its said that the Federal Government wants 100,000 body bags. Meanwhile Trump is blaming China for US inaction as China did not, and get this, release real figures so that Washington could grasp the magnitude of the situation and take earlier action. Simply breath taking but true – I watched it on TV with disbelief. Do Americans actually believe this? If they do, they are not brainwashed but brain dead.
