Two Serbian Army members die in car crash in north
The Ministry of Defense announced on Thursday that two members of the Serbian Army had died in a car crash that took place earlier in the day near Feketic.
Source: B92, BetaThe victims are Lt. Col. Igor Veselinovski, commander of the 17th Mechanized Battalion based in Backa Topola, and Mico Ivancevic, a civilian employed by the same unit.
Another soldier, Dejan Nikolovski, who drove the car, received life-threatning injuries and was transported to Novi Sad.
The accident, a pileup, happened at around 07:45 hour CET on Thursday on the Subotica-Novi Sad highway.
