Twelve of those who have been detained will appear before a judge at noon, Hina reported.

According to an announcement, three suspects are inaccessible to the authorities - they are the founder of Agrokor Ivica Todoric and his sons, Ante and Ivan, whose attorneys claim that they are not on the run, and will return to Croatia "if summoned by judicial institutions."

All of those detained were members of the board of directors or the supervisory board in Agrokor, except for two who worked for the audit firm Baker Tilly, which audited Agrokor's reports.

They are all suspected of several financial crimes and forgery, i.e., abuse of business and illegal bookkeeping.

The Prosecutor's Office suspects Todoric of acquiring unlawful material gains.
