The prestigious team will take part in Friday's celebrations to mark the liberation of Belgrade in the Second World War.

Strizhi was founded in May 1991, as part of the 237th Guards Proskurov Aircraft Demonstration Center, at Kubinka Air Base.

The group continues to be based in Kubinka, some 60 kilometers from Moscow, and consists of some of the base's best pilots flying on MiG-29s.
