Former Kosovo PM dies in Turkey
Former Kosovo Prime Minister Bajram Rexhepi died early on Monday in Istanbul, Turkey, Pristina-based media have reported, according to RTS.
Source: RTSRexhepi suffered a stroke several months ago. He underwent surgery in a Pristina hospital, and then fell into a coma.
It was in this condition that he was transferred to Istanbul, where he today died, RTS said.
Rexhepi was a doctor by trade, a high-ranking official of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, and the first post-war prime minister of Kosovo.
